navistar:Please don't waste your funds. You need a minimum of 4 years experience to get a positive assessment with your profile. (3 years due to non related qualification + 1 year deemed skill period deduction) - see image below 1. MBA is not related to computer science or IT 2. With Vetassess, you need to apply with both degrees but it wont work due to you having only one year post graduation experience. 3. not applicable now 4. No chance with ICT Account manager.

henzolucci: YOu will need to provide more details for both first and second degrees for yourself and spouse like your course, year of graduation, the university, course duration (4 or 5 years) and the period of experience (for example,GIS 2011-2017 and tax accountant 2017 till date). Something like that. For tax accountant, you need to have a degree in accounting or ACCA or ICAN to get a positive assessment. It's a no without an accounting qualification. Also, all marketing roles are level 1 occupation which requires a bachelor's degree which your spouse does not have so technically, she's not eligible due to her qualification |

geloorrrrdd:this is tunlex. There is nothing to resolve. I already responded to you to assess with vetassess if you have experience. EA does not assess HND for a level 1 occupation. They will issue you a negative report, that's all. You also must have selected the wrong assessment which is why you are getting a refund. EA is very nice. Nigerian graduates go for CDR and skills assessment. 2 Likes |

Okay, thank you. Will explore other options. YOu will need to provide more details for both first and second degrees for yourself and spouse like your course, year of graduation, the university, course duration (4 or 5 years) and the period of experience (for example,GIS 2011-2017 and tax accountant 2017 till date). Great job with providing valued information and advise to everyone needing help on here. Visa subClass 190 = Architectural Draftsperson. Summary of Profile; Age = 30points English = 10points (PTE 75) Job experience = 10 points (7yrs) Qualification = 15points Partner skills = 10points TOTAL= 75points Profession - Architecture (7years) First Degree - Architecture (Graduated -2016). Problems & Questions => 1). I am about to assess through Vetassess, but my employer is seriously owing pensions and hasn’t been remitting taxes and these are part of the documents required for an assessment. However, I have all other relevant employment details (Notarized Appointmemt and promotion letters, Payslips, ID cards). How can I go about this? Will statutory letters be sufficient for this absence of these documents?. What advice do you have for my stituation? 2).when and how do I nominated by a state that has this discipline on their skill list for 190?. |

tunlex01:Hello, please how long does the AITSL assessment take after submitting? And do you also have a group for those who are currently going through this pathway, I’m interested. Thirdly, what is the best option for secondary school teachers? 189,190 or 491? |

Flames000: Firstly, ensure your reference letter and documents reflect Architectural draftsperson and not architect to get a positive assessment from Vetassess 1. You can assess with Vetassess with the documents you have. they dont need to be authorised. Be prepapred to submit evidence of your work where you have been a draftsperson. Continue to process the tax or pension, you will need them during the visa stage. And if you have funds, you can pay for the taxes. 2. when you have a positive assessment and English test, then you can lodge EOI then visit all the state migration websites to check their requirements and see if you are eligible. 1 Like |

Shadeishola777:about 8-10 weeks now. Best option is based on your total points and the nomination you receive from a state. 189 is not regular these days and 190 has been scarce but 491 is everywhere. Teachers still manage to get 190 though. One thing you don't know about visa 491 Some persons have visa 189 & 190 in their minds. Of course, those 2 visas are the main targets for many persons. But do you know that the competition for those 2 is quite fierce? If your scores is not high, you will stay on the queue longer than expected if those are what you're targeting at this point. They don't want you to come to the cities. They need you in the regional areas which to me are good places to live for new arrivals because the cost of living is cheaper and the areas are still as beautiful as the cities. Now, let me tell you something that some haven't really thought of. Do you know that you that got 491 and those that got 189 & 190 will attain citizenship at the same period if everything goes well for you? Ask me how? Well, for 491 visa, which is a 5yrs temporary visa with a pathway to PR, only requires you to stay for 3 yrs and you will qualify to apply for visa 191 PR. The 191 is a pathway specifically made available for 491 visa holders. For the 491, visa holders can move between regional areas. Regional areas are defined as any area excluding Sydney, Melbourne and Brisbane, while Perth and Gold Coast are classified as regional areas. Isn't that wonderful! Now, after appplying and granted visa 191, having stayed and worked for 3yrs in any of the regional areas, you only need to stay for 1 year as a permanent resident to qualify for citizenship. If you look at it, you will discover that you and someone that got 189 or 190 directly will qualify for citizenship almost at the same time because 189 & 190 visa holders need to stay for 4yrs to qualify for citizenship. Now add your 3yrs as 491 visa holder to your required 1 year as PR for visa 191, which add up to be 4years, you will discover that, the only thing you will miss not getting visa 189 and 190 is the benefits that come with them which you won't even feel. As the competition is getting stiffer, I won't advise you waiting for visa 190 or 189 if granted ITA for 491. Accept it with the speed of light and lodge your application. Why this eye-opening write up? Just so you know visa 491 is as important and good as visa 189 & 190. The goal is to get into Australia legally as possible. 8 Likes |

Good day everyone, I just finished reading the first 25 pages of this thread after checking page 0. My ANZSCO code is 233211- Civil Engineer I have 8 years experience, entered Civil Service as Civil Engr II and I am presently a SNR Civil Engr. I observed ANZSCO code 312113 describes what I do presently in Civil Service. I am 32years old I am yet to do Language Test, will be doing it soon. I understand that EA is the assessing body. My challenge is; How do I go about the CDR? I’d really appreciate if there’s anyone that can put me through. Also, My husband is 34yrs and he studied Geology. He had experience in Customer relations and he’s presently doing a Data Analysis program. Please who stands a better position in the application? Cc tunlex01 and other gurus in the house. |

Cest2023: The civil engineer stands a better chance. Your husband can write the English test to increase your points. If you visit EA's website, you will find template to write your CDR 1 Like |
