Tpharell: which compliance are they reporting on? They have offered something (7.07) but not called a meeting for the minority to accept or reject, so where is the compliance? |

robobo: Oando is crossing the N10,00 mark again today, in spite of the court case oooo! Some folks seem to know more about this Oando stocks! If the court case does not lead to a fall in price today, then there could be another round of mad rush for Oando. |

Phlinx: Many things make stocks to significantly rise on the NSE. The fundamental thing that makes a stock rise on the NSE and any where in the world is sustained rise in earnings per share over time and an outlook that earning levels will be sustained and not be cut short. |

mikeapollo: Easy. All real news and events (bad, neutral and good) affecting the company need to be shared to give bargain hunters more info on their bets. Todays OANDO trade has been choppy. Moving from more bids to more offers when the big bulls pulled out during trading session. 3 Likes |

megawealth01: The big bids that pulled out were bidding lower than current trading prices. The biggest bids are currently at N8.30 Perhaps those that want to speculatively invest don't want to pay off gamblers, traders and whatever too much profit. As the coast is foggy. |

essentialone:You can't beat wale in this game.He is a lawyer. The 14 minority shareholders is still wale left hand in action. The only thing that will come out of all this is small adjustment in the buy out price from wale if he has decided to delist.....no agm(social gathering) can stop him and his partners. Note:will still buy oando if I see it at #5.00 4 Likes |

They deliberately shifted the date to after Supreme court Presidential election judgement. Because they are not sure of where Atiku is dragging Tinubu and his Certificate to. |
Re: Nigerian Stock Exchange Market Pick Alerts by mikeapollo: 1:39pm On Oct 10, 2023 |
Streetinvestor2: Other minority shareholder groups should also serve notice of Court action, as a pre-emptive strategy to checkmate Wale. There has been enough time (since around March 2023) for other shareholder groups to mobilize and protect the ordinary investors, at least by ensuring that they object to the delisting. That would counter and technically put an end to the current Court action by the 14 minority shareholders, and then make Oando (or Wale and his partners) to initiate their own actions to delist, and then the ''6 months maximum price '' rule would kick in, which would make the buyout share to be N16.00 by CAMA/SEC rules, instead of N7.07 Let's wait and watch. They may have their plans. 1 Like |

rmx: The question is: Will the naira devaluation exceed the 14% minimum annual return that he will make on a Nigerian bond? We don't know. But I know that if the money is held in at 14% in sukuk, the naira has to fall to above 3200 naira to a Pound for him to do worse, assuming that the UK bond maintains a 4.5% return over the course of 10 years. If you spot an opportunity within the 10-year period, the bond can still be sold. Better still, the yearly proceeds can be invested in the stock market or other bonds. Again, this is one way to play it. There are multiple ways to approach this. Besides diversification, our work is to determine the one that makes the most sense and exposes us to the least risk. AI, some algebra, and Excel can give us some insights. 1 Like |

I just dey laugh at all the folks who cling to the unfortunate past and spread wicked stories against Wale and Oando. If only they know that this is a new season and that the wind is on the back of Oando. Enough said. 3 Likes |
