@Thetruth123, my legalization of documents with the Brazilian Consulate in Lagos is taking a long time. It has been with them since 6th June. Today is 14th June. They are yet to send it to Brazil. What do I do? Or how can you help. I have emailed the Consulate but no response. Can you help facilitate?

What document does one need to legalize at the Brazilian Consulate?

NaijaBajanMum:
Hello Mamas,

Looking to connect with 2 expecting mamas who are considering Barbados as an alternative destination for childbirth between October & November 2023 that have their UK visas already. I am exploring a collaborative Do-It-Yourself strategy between us as the Instagram Naija vendor agents offering these services are priced very high upward of $15k without flight tickets, compared to the prices I have investigated myself

which can be way less than $10k.

I have established contact with a hospital over

there, found reasonable priced short let apartments that can be shared but I am still looking to establish links with immigration over there for hassle free entry which is the last hurdle. I am not asking for anything from you, please note you would be making your payments directly yourself to the hospital and other points, I am just seeking companions on the missionary journey as to avoid the exploitation of our dear agencies here in naija ready to shave our heads on our quest for second passports for our kids.

Interested? email me at naijabajanmum-2023@yahoo.com so we can talk. Please only 2-3 serious mums needed.

Thank you!

Hello ma,

I just want to inquire about your birth tourism to Barbados, how soon can baby get passport after birth and also does the passport represent the child in uk as a British citizen?

Make una stop going to US through land crossing. Be warned and be Wise. It is not worth the risk. Go watch documentaries on YouTube and see what people pass through trying to cross from South and Central American acountries to the US including in the US Mexico Boarder.

Thank you so much boss,I have changed my mind,it's not worth risking!.. after risking my precious life crossing 10 countries jungle from Brazil to Mexico,I would end up as non documented/illegal immigrant in USA....e no make sense.... But d idea of crossing over to Mexico from Brazil gave me another immigration partway!...

Just curious, is Mexico better than Brazil?
How not-so-good is the reality for migrants in Brazil? No jobs?

the purpose of crossing 10 countries to Mexico is to cross to United States,it's not about Mexico..

yes you are right, a child born in Brasil get automatic citizenship (and permanent visa for his/her foreigner parents) whether on a tourist visa or illegal in the country. the only real problem would be TIME, because bureaucracy here is very very slow!

A) you 1st need to decide what city in Brasil you intend to go to

B) birth price will depend on which hospital you choose... the better the hospital/service, the higher the price.... it ranges from €1.5K to €5K. you could even have the baby on a pubic hospital but i certainly wouldnt recommand it as some have been turned down in the past because they were not Brazilian resident

C) for the birth certificate, if you have all the necessary documentation: the birth documentation from the hospital, passport of parents, a CPF, a proof of address in Brasil and 2 witnesses then you just need to head to a "cartorio" and have the birth certificate issued to you. it will take 1 hr at best, so long as it is not busy at the time.

D) for the child's passport, i suggest you expect no less than 2 months as bureaucracy in Brasil is a drag!
if I go there on visit visa and i needed to return back to Nigeria for my work/business, is that any other way to fast track the process to passport in time.

How long does it take for them to send your documentback to you?
donbuscka:

1. There is no procedure. Just package all documents and send to the consulate. However, answer 2 will tell you what to do before you can use courier.

2. You would have to choose "Courier" WHEN YOU ARE FILLING THE APPLICATION, not after. That way you have indicated your documents will be presented through courier. I will also advise you put a self addressed envelope inside for them to return your docunents and passport.

Would suggest you apply for a Tourist visa then:
1. Switch to a course in a private school. Some allow part-time study on Saturdays OR
2. Try switching to a Digital Nomad Visa from here

Just do a language program at an "Instituto Federal" instead of a private school to save cost. The program would most likely be virtual but you can use it to get a student visa because the learning hours is a lot in principle. However, classes are like 2-4 hours per week then you complete the other materials by taking the course online via the Moodle learning platform.

The school is for science and technology... I can't find where to apply for português language.
I will appreciate any further clarification from you.
