Hello house,
I got this refusal note from Ukvi, does it the reason for my refusal was because of my untranslated company registration letter, can I re-apply immediately,or can you explain this better

Major reason was the company document.

Appears the case worker didn't bother going through other documents.

Hello everyone,

I could really use some help regarding my situation. I have my biometric appointment scheduled for tomorrow, and I'm feeling a bit lost. Last week, I applied for a standard UK visitor visa and unfortunately received a refusal (I'll share the refusal letter below). I wasn't surprised by the refusal as I rushed through the application and provided some bank statements with irregular and unknown inflows (I use P2P to convert my USDT to Naira alot). Additionally, there were some documents I didn't include, unsure if they would be accepted. But now, I don't think I have much of a choice but to address these issues.

I work as a software developer, and my company pays me through Deel. The problem is, I don't always transfer all my money into a bank account that could demonstrate my stated salary. Most of the time, I withdraw using Binance and P2P, and occasionally transfer funds to my Dom account.

The main issue is that I don't have a bank account statement showing my monthly income at the stated amount. The only proof I have right now is my transaction statement from Deel.

My question is, can I use the Deel account statement to support my application, even though it's not from a traditional bank? I've also provided an employment letter from my employer and payslips (invoices), but the Entry Clearance Officer is emphasizing the need for deposit evidence.

The second reason was due to the bank statement i provided which i didn't put an explanation (it will be hard to provide one since most of the inflow are through p2p). anyone have advice on this too.

Thanks

You have already reapplied. You should have asked questions before reapplying. There is very little you can do now as your biometric is today. You will just need to wait it out.

so where did he fill in the wrong information?

When he was filling his own application for skilled worker.
That is where d error came from, when they asked him about his mother and father details.

Thanks

I understand. That information is already in the system so whenever he wants to apply for say a visit visa for his mother they will surely bring back up his application form to crosscheck the information between then and now. Nothing more to do but to start looking for reasons to explain in the mom’s form when the time comes, to get lots of pictures and documentary proofs right from when he was younger till now to show that this is his mother.
In extreme proactive cases and if he does not have proofs linking the maternal relationship , he can decide to do a DNA test to add to her application.

Thank you for your response.
It's possible to correct it through passport, since she has not process passport can he put d details he put on his application forms on d passport.

Thank you

Hi all.

I applied for UK Visitor Visa (6 months). I submitted my biometrics on the 6th of October (last week friday). My application was transferred to the Decision Making Centre the same day and received there on the 9th (this week Monday). This morning, I just received an email saying my passport is ready for collection and sent out for delivery (I paid for courier service). I am a bit worried as I did not pay for priority nor super priority and it usually takes roughly 3 weeks to get a decision. The turn around time was super fast. I have not received a rejection email though.

Anyone had this experience before?

Thanks!

Hi don’t complicate matters. If you have filled passport form and paid, it’s one of two things, the dob and name must correspond with what is one ur nin to be able to get a Nigerian passport. U said she already has nin. What is on there first
If u now decide to change what u have filled on ur passport form, then be ready to change all ur NIN details as well because she will fail verification if the details on the NIN do not match what is supposed to appear on the international passport.

I was in a similar situation - in my case, I got my mum’s DOB wrong whilst applying for my visa 5 years ago and even when I renewed it (I wrote 6th June 1965 when infact it is 16th June 1954). Last month I needed to apply for her visitor visa to come to the UK, it worried me when I saw her passport and other official docs showing the correct DOB. I was devastated. How can this be. But I still just applied and hoped that they won’t check my application history. To make it worst, I lost my birth certificate many many years ago so I couldn’t provide a solid proof that she was my mother except via pictures (a lot of pictures).

Her visa was granted!!

No reason to worry. Straightforward applications are fast to deal with most times. My last application I remember took just 5 working days and its standard visitor visa.
Congrats in advance.

Hello!

I sincerely need other people's insight regarding this UK Visa.

Firstly, I've been to Morocco, South Africa, Lebanon, Qatar, and Ghana.

Secondly, I've been denied USA and Spain (Schengen) Visa.

Thirdly, I've been a freelancer since 2019 working with different clients on long and short projects. My earnings were not accounted for. They were earned in USD, however, I use different means and sources to exchange for Naira.

Since July, I registered as a Company with CAC and I've been paying myself 2.5M naira consecutively. Looking at my bank statement, I've been spending around 800k monthly.

I intend to apply for a UK standard visa soon, waiting for 6 Months so I can have proof of employment for the past 6 months (I don't know if this is a must). I can get recommendations from some of my clients to serve as supporting documents. I also have a landed document in my name.

The only credits in my bank account have been my salary, and I spend from the account for my day-to-day spending.

This is my situation. I just want to hear from other people's perspectives if there's anything I really need to know or worry about.

Thank you.

cc dduchess90 dirolad giselle237 Ashirioluwa ShootingStar92 CashMadam

You are contradicting yourself. You say you are a freelancer then later mentioned employment.

Stick to one. It does appear that you are self employed or work on a contractual basis.

Whatever the situation is, stick to it and have evidence to support your claims of what you earn.

Your bank statement for a few months and invoices you send to your clients should be amongst the documents you should present. I hope this helps.

It is per individual basis ofcourse. Dependent visas and spouse visas are often linked/tied to relationship status.

On face value, it seems you have also entered £3k in the section on how much you are planning to spend personally on the trip (perhaps also repeated this same amount in the section on how much your sponsor is giving you). Is that correct?

By the way, I might be wrong, but did you not post a visa alert here just a couple of days ago?

Around 2021 I got a refusal letter from Canada, school application tho which I stated when applying for uk visit visa
Timeline
Biometric at Tls VI —— Sep 29,2023
Application transferred to DMc same day (Sep 29)
Email stating App already at DMC — oct 2, 2023
Collection Email — Oct 6, 2023
Collected my passport today with visa — Oct 9, 2023

Processing took just 5 working days, normal application o, i didn’t pay for priority.. my sister did the application btw. I am still a student here currently in 500L

How come a refusal notice barely five days after you posted this visa alert? Have I missed something here?

Yes, I inputted £3k in d section on how much I am planning to spend personally and same £3k on how much my sponsor will give me.
Is that where the problem lies?

I thought as much and it would appear that's where your problem lies. You could tell from the refusal letter that the ECO knew you had made a mistake - but their hands were tied.

By entering that same amount twice, you have implied it's a £6k total budget, 50% of which would be paid by the applicant; an applicant whose documented finances don't support an ability to PERSONALLY spend that much on a holiday.

The £3k belonged only in the sponsor's section

As a student, your stated yearly allowance of 600k is way less than the £3K of YOUR OWN MONEY you said you will spend personally on your trip in addition to the £3K from your sister (sponsor).
The above is an error on your path as you may have quoted that figure without understanding the question asked.

The refusal letter also mentioned that you have not demonstrated a strong family, economic or social ties to your home country: as a student you could add your 1. Academic transcripts, evidence of your involvement in SUG activities, any leadership positions you currently hold in your department or student union or even church or your community.
Also, a cover letter stating why you need to make this trip at this time instead of focusing on your academics.

Thanks for your response boss, please are you saying I should put the £3k in the “How much much money will they be paying towards your visit” And how much should I put in the “How much money are you personally planning to spend on your visit” ?

I have used the Portharcourt TLS centre twice all in the month of September 2023 (for my mum’s visit visa and my sister in law’s). Aside the courier service and refreshments being offered, all the decisions were made within 5 working days. So I believe it includes priority service.

If your sister is sponsoring your trip 100% then you need to add the £3000 to ‘How much are they paying towards your trip’ question. Then under where it asks ‘how much money are you planning to spend’ add £1.
