Its a good policy that will take time to fully show impact. The implementation has been solid so far.

There's no item on CBN list anymore, CBN are also actively clearing all the backlogs.

It will take time for the rate to stabilize but it will.

Can you share your source @bolded?

Ah. So they didn't evacuate the hospital or what?
It's a different hospital. IDF denied it on their twit now.

...₦160m per Car multiply by 360 Members?! HOR should be scrapped pls, I don't even know their job(s).

Na PR. The reps could actually buy luxury cars for themselves but no way they are buying 130m cars for 360 people.

The total NASS budget is 221bn, there's nowhere Reps will get 57bn to buy luxury cars out of that 221bn which includes their salaries and capital expenditure.

I don't believe it, looks like a convenient excuse.

Propaganda will start from both side now.

They said they are committed to accelerating efforts to clear the FX backlogs.

Let them start it and maybe we will take them serious.

That was how they said they will clear it in two weeks in September.

Me and him has blocked each other since 2020 but Journalists (not that i rate him as a journalist) work actually requires funding and independent journalist usually seeks for donations and the likes to continue their work.

In all honesty, tell me a better journalist you know than DH in Nigeria.

Forex is not coming in now. Emefiele CBN don use cash swap and oil swap collect forex, that's what the new CBN is still managing and clearing.

Our finances were shit under Buhari and Emefiele.

It is.

According to what I'm reading here, the official market close at 980 and black market at 1070. It means alot of transaction is moving to the official market, the more liquidity move to the official market, the best.

Let the naira find its value against the dollar. Anybody that needs the dollar should be able to pay the true value for it. Unless you want the govt to continue from where Buhari stop and keep using scarce resource and our foreign reserve to defend the naira that's only available to some set of people.

My stance hasn't changed.
Dollar unification as well as fuel subsidy removal are not bad idea...

It became a bad one when we weren't ripe enough to withstand the aftermath...

The combination of both is the reason why many Nigerians are considering suicide

Fuel subsidy should've remained for me.

The political class cant be asking the masses to make sacrifice when I know they are not ready to make any sacrifice.

It's also the reason why I strongly support the dollar move. Make everybody dey buy the true value of the dollar. Not that some people who have access to CBN will be getting dollar ay a subsidized amount while the rest will be getting dollar at an astronomical rate.

Make everybody buy at dollar at the same rate. Whether na 1k or 2k.

President Tinubu's Administration will engage Ministers serving in his Cabinet with the followings:

1- Ministers to sign a Performance bond with President Tinubu. This will be signed at the Minister's Retreat coming up soon. And the bond will contain target and deliverables. You propose 100 jobs in one quarter and you achieve 30, your performance achievement is 30%.

2- Ministers will hold Quarterly Retreat To measure and grade Performances.

3-Nigerians will have Access to an App To view Ministerial Assessment Reports.
