That's how the other day teacher's of UBE went to the ministry of finance protesting that the salaries and steps of their counterparts in SSSB be reduced to the same level as that of the UBE if the finance doesn't want to also increase their own. We gave you guys the info about our high step so that you can push for yours to be increased too, not to go there and be saying ours should be reduced for uniformity

The UBE board chairman is a very stupid man. He is doing all these to gain favour from the government. He thought his tenure will still extended.

when I wasn't paid my arears I didn't drag anybody.. let them allow me to enjoy this one I've seen....but why not push for the right thing to be done concerning their salaries? rather than push your frustrations into wickedness ...cos it's wicked to say because I didn't get this so the other person shouldn't, when it's not even the other person's fault your being denied...

Where did you get this your news from that is spreading hate in this space already?
Why would the UBE teachers be pushing for the salaries of RSSB teachers to be reduced because they're earning higher than them? Were you there at the Finance Ministry during the so-called protest or you're spreading this based on hearsay bc it doesn't sound reasonable to me.
How would reducing the pay of RSSB teachers be the solution to the UBE teachers' problem? I don't think any normal person would be thinking in that line.
Nobody is happy with what the UBE Board is doing and the entire blame is on the UBE board and not Ministry of Finance, the RSSSB, or the innocent RSSSB teachers, so they can't be called
out in any way. Even within the UBE Board, there are disparity of earnings among staff at same level, and I am personally badly affected too, yet I have never wished that my other colleagues pay be reduced to make it same with mine. Rather, I'm pushing for mine to be increased to be at par with theirs.
All I'm saying in essence is that your message is spreading bad blood, and you should discontinue, especially if you don't have facts to back up your allegation. RSSSB and RSUBEB are together in the struggle; they are not fighting each other, and you shouldn't make it sound like they are!

UBE teachers wished SSSB teachers to have received salary greater than what was actually paid to them. Thus, when we were told that SSSB have increased their step to 6 and 7,we were all happy and emotionally shot canon on their behalf, knowing quite well that one day the salary ll be harmonized, considering the fact that the two board are one and in same ministry .

Exactly my brother, everyone has been rightly promoted to the correct grade level 12. The issue of steps is the responsibility of the respective boards. Those on 12/6 & 12/7 for SSSB were on 8/3 & 8/4. Those on step 12/10 were formally on between 8/12 - 8/15. It was not an error, just that many of you guys didn't know.
Ideally, steps are increased by the board annually or biannually. Those who were lucky had theirs implemented while those who weren't lucky, well it was not implemented. I had said it before, in my former school we filled the increment forms, mine wasn't implemented but some of my colleagues we started together on same grade level and step, theirs was implemented. So the thing is that in placing steps, those with higher steps before the promotion cannot be placed on the same step as others who had lower steps. In other words, 8/3 and 8/13 cannot be placed on same pedestal. 8/3 could be 12/6 and 8/13 could be 12/10. SSSB implemented arrears of steps in their board, UBE board should also implement the steps for their board

The bolded has a good point we need to work with, since we have a listening governor. We need to look for that step increment form on time, fill and submit to our board and the ministry of finance. I learn that increment usually take place every January, and January is fast approaching.
