It's simple, the blame game is lame and only an administration without plan will continue to throw blame while everything keeps getting worse under their watch.

Tinubu told us he'll continue Buhari' legacy where he stopped. He said Buhari has led a good foundation for a prosperous Nigeria and he's coming to take it to the next level..... Why are they now blaming themselves this early morning? Did Buhari scam Tinubu or what?

And he also said he brought Buhari into power or something like that. 🀭

No bro. It's much more than that.

Someone with a good education is telling you APC is the best

Infact, someone abroad will support APC and after 8 years, he will insult APC and support APC again.

It cannot be mudu of rice and garri

There's some mysterious shiiit behind it, and i am ready to do anything to learn

Yes?? Because we practice a party-system of governance! Not a zero party that allows individuals to campaign and contest alone!!

Fgs, WHY didn't APC field in their best men? Why? They are a party and that is what they campaign with. Their collective success and losses. If I moved to APC today and I get elected as a governor under them, due to their clout, it will be stupid for them to turn around and disassociate from me when I fail.

Like, why didn't they do their due diligence??

Does a president work alone? Why didn't YOUR party push the best men forward to work with Buhari?

If Buhari blamed GEJ's government, and now Tinubu is blaming Buhari's government, are you not seeing a trend with the APC party itself?

This doesn't make sense one bit.

You can be in a party and have different views and ways about how to do something whether policy direction or whatever. It is not the party that was giving Buhari people to work with, it is Buhari choosing who he wants to work with, same way Tinubu is choosing who he wants to work with at the moment.

A political party is a vehicle to carry out political ambition. Nothing more, nothing else.

I don't like the APC, but I really don't care what party a person is from as long as the person does the needful.

But people here will defend the obviously indefensible simply because of party loyalty. It is amazing, really.

You told me Buhari was the best option. I watched my country slowly rot away for 8 years. Then you brought someone who told us he put Buhari there, and Who promised to continue Buhari's works, and you're turning round to blame Buhari who you told me was the best for 8 years?

And later Raumdeuter will tell me juju does not exist.

You are not going to have an exporting nation overnight, that is a medium - long term policy planning.

My suggestion is simple, bring all the players into the official market which will stimulate the official market with enough liquidity. Currently there are billions of dollars outside the market that if injected into the official market can stabilize things in the short term.

My suggested solutions are simple

Ban BDC and digitalize all forex transaction, this is to enable the CBN to track all dollar transactions from both demand and supply side. It will also eliminate those who are mopping up dollar for abritage uses. BDC has done more than enough harm to the forex market.

Bring all the IMTOs into the official market, all these players like Sendwave and the likes that operate in cross border payment. This will bring the needed liquidity into the official market as most of the diaspora remittance are through IMTOs. If the CBN can bring them into the official market, it will help with the liquidity that the market badly needed. Only $2bn of diaspora remittance last year pass through the official channel out of over $40bn diaspora remittance.

Lastly they can look for a way to bring crypto exchanges into the official market as well, they can provide regulation framework and all as we have alot of diaspora remittance that comes through crypto also.

These are my own suggested ideas on how these issues can be tackled in the short term.

Shey you know there's already a policy that states that IMTOs must not go beyond a set percentage of the I&E window. They are openly flouting it and CBN seems powerless to stop them.

So when you ask the CBN to bring them in and they refuse because there's no incentive like I said, the next thing I believe is for CBN to ban them.

That will only make the already bad situation worse. People will find alternate ways to move money and it still won't pass through CBN.

That's the way I see it.

The CBN controls the monetary system of the country, they can get things done if they want to.

Tinubu campaigned for the job and he has appointed Cardoso to head the CBN, they should fix it. Let's see their short, medium and long term plan.

So you're telling me that as at the time Buhari was propped up by APC, there was no indication that he would be a total failure?

A political party is bla bla bla, but you will drag Obi for changing parties. Why? Because you somehow believe that political members share values and ideologies, so they'll rub off each other.

LMAO.

Every campaign period and materials are always based on the fact of what a party has achieved THROUGH an individual.

I know you do not disassociate GEJ's failures from PDP. When you want to criticise PDP, you will call them by their name, and you will judge everyone they bring forward by their party's antecedents and performance in every other states.

But Buhari picked people within the party not so? If Buhari picked people who are equally as inept as he is, which would call into question the kind of people APC is filled with, why should we trust their recommendation of any candidate?

When a candidate does well, do you think their performance is only for their own benefits and their cabal?

Can you get to the point of your argument exactly? Peter Obi himself said in an interview that theres no difference between the 3 parties APC, PDP and LP in terms of ideologies. Do you want to fight him also?

I've never stopped anyone from blaming Buhari and APC or Tinubu and APC. Everyone here has been blaming APC here since, did I tell anyone not to blame APC but Buhari?

I dont even understand all these argument ffs.

My point?

That the failures of a party cannot be dissociated from the individuals that make it up as a rule.

It is natural for opposition members and lay citizens who are not affiliated with any party to blame APC. But Tinubu? Why? When he is literally representative of that party at the highest level.

I can even excuse differences in APC's local government chairmen and APC's presidents. But from one APC president to 'another?'

No. I am judging Tinubu's presidency by Buhari's failure, and one of the reasons why is because they came from the same party.

You don dey give me headache like this.

I did not stop you or anyone from blaming Buhari, Tinubu or APC.

Even during the campaign I stated it here clearly that the electorate will judge Tinubu using Buhari scorecard since they belong to the same party and that it's only left to Tinubu to proof that he's different from Buhari.

At your last paragraph, there's nothing wrong with doing that.

I have criticized Tinubu when I think he has gotten a policy wrong or done something I dont like. Likewise I'll state my opinion on issues and if possible proffer whatever solutions I can here (it's not as if the FG is coming here to look for solutions anyways cheesy

That's what happens when you jumping into a conversation without actually understanding what you are jumping into.

My point about the forex market issue was clear, I did not stop or argue with anyone that's blaming APC rule from Buhari to Tinubu. I only pointed out that Buhari administration did actually dry up our reserve defending the naira and even had to borrow money to keep defending the naira. It makes no sense to continue on that path especially as doing that keeps swallowing our revenue.

If you want to blame APC rule from Buhari to Tinubu, do that, I'm not arguing or stopping you from doing that. Alot of people have been doing that here and you dont see me telling me not to do so.
