Israel okays emergency regulations to close Al Jazeera office in Israel

The Israeli government on Friday approved emergency regulations that allow the closing of the office of Al Jazeera news channel in Israel.

Israeli public broadcaster KAN said under the regulations, the Al Jazeera office may be closed and all its equipment be confiscated.

KAN added that Israeli officials believe that Al Jazeera coverage harms Israel's national security.

The Israeli i24 news website quoted an Israeli statement as saying the Al Jazeera network "broadcasts propaganda in the service of Hamas in Arabic and English to viewers all over the world."

Al Jazeera network had denied all these allegations but has yet to comment on the latest Israeli decision.

Qatar-based Al Jazeera television is considered one of the main media networks that is fully covering the situation in Gaza, Israel, and southern Lebanon.

Aljazeera never reported that the strike on the hospital was from Gaza.They kept saying it was israel that attacked even though it was one of their footage that showed that the strike was actually from Gaza.
To think that they have an office in a country the hate so much is quite annoying.

This is bad, Al Jazeera is the only unbiased news media covering this war, I guess Israel isn't comfortable with their honest reportage

I remember one of their journalists was killed last year by an Israeli soldier, they are always at loggerheads

Their reporting is Pro-Islamists.

Same way CNN & BBC are Pro-West.

Gone are the days when you have independent stations with unbiased reporting.

It's hard to watch these international stations now. All they all stream is narratives that suits their owners.

Al-Jazeera: Israel did this, blah blah blah
CNN: Trump destroyed democracy, blah blah..
BBC: Emperor Putin killing people, blah blah..

I expected this,

War is just business and any media not publishing correctly what there war business men want would be fought against at every angle.

War is usually pure business and a very profitable one at that.

It take a lot to see beyond the smokescreen and see reality.

Most men are so gullible they believe what ever they find on the news and spend so much time again or defending ignorance.

The public opinion on war has always been influenced by the powerful media narrative. The Qatari state-backed Al-Jazeera, the Turkish-owned TRT World, has been sympathetic to Palestine in their report, while Western media agencies like CNN, BBC, and Fox News has leaned toward Israel.

Depending on how you seed it, Israel is protecting its interest. War is not about justice and injustice, it's about interest

This is very good news. Aljazeera is a Muslim owned station and would do everything to make Hamas terrorists look like the victim. Painting Israel as terrorist but keeping mute over the atrocities Hamas committed against defenseless civilians.

It's just like NTA that would never talk about the killing of people in Benue state.

That’s their business besides the killings that are going on in that part of the world is still the same thing in Nigeria that’s not even at war
