I'm certain maths is compulsory for high school. It used to be a requirement for university science courses and lots of the arts and socials too. You weren't admitted to law without maths in my days, though dliar's mode of reasoning and method of argument and ignorance of basic concepts doesn't show a person who knows anything about law.

Societies that brought us King James have evolved to making maths and science and critical thinking compulsory in primary and secondary schools. Church of England schools stopped teaching creationism because parents stopped sending their kids there. Now they are some of the best schools, producing intelligent successful people.

Thankfully, lots of Nigerians are learning to teach in UK these days, and are seeing what we've missed out on, and some will return back home to educate us to the next stage of our evolution, Amen.
