Treadway: There's no probable basis to assume the OP's story is genuine. It's likely he's just another member of the Anti-Jakpa Crew, a group of JEALOUS people who've taken it on themselves to discourage migration from Nigeria OR denigrate those who've already left the country. No matter how bad it is in the UK, it's very likely an improvement for the vast majority of those who choose to migrate there from Nigeria and most other African nations. I have 2 relatives and 1 friend who left Nigeria just this year, I'm in contact with them and they're overjoyed. One of them comes from a fairly well to do family, my family rented housing from them for a while in Nigeria. He was a working lawyer in Nigeria, over 40 years old when he left with his wife and 3 kids. That's the fact. So it's hard to take some anonymous poster seriously. The entire post might be fake...in my opinion it's entirely made up. Good Luck to Nigeria. 2 Likes |

My observation so far about this rant is that most of you that actually JAPA are well to do people in Nigeria who also had gateman and maid in their houses and offices . The real people that need this JAPA doesn't even have 100k savings in their account . If you leave your comfort zone to go meet an unexpected , you have to learn to humble yourself and learn to start from beginning otherwise you will continue to lament and frustrated . 5 Likes |

fullclub: When you look in the mirror, who do you see looking back at you? No matter how you try to spin it, it all leads back to you and your dishonesty when applying for the visa. At least admit this part. You made a mistake by lying on your application and not planning properly. You didn't kill someone. Don't be afraid to own up to your mistake. Answer the following: - Who submitted proof of finance along with your application when applying for the visa? - Why didn't you put the true amount you had available for your survival on the form? - Why did you decide to lie on your application knowing firsthand you did not have enough? More observations: page 5 fullclub: Thanks bro. even tomorrow i will be sending 10 pounds to a student who said he doesn't have anything to eat. terrible story. I just plan on returning back to start my data analysis course, doing R and completing other courses that gives me joy than the pain and anguished. I thought you claim you're a coder (uff! so 90's) and a data analyst. Why are you still going back for a course in a profession you already know? Re: My Experience In UK Since I Japa:WARNING by fullclub: 9:09am On Oct 26 Procashtips: ]But you made all the monies you're currently dashing UK govt in Nigeria? You said you have multiple properties still in Nigeria, how did you get all these if Nigeria was actually bad for you? Anyone who can boast of at least ₦15m in cash and assets in Nigeria shouldn't complain about Nigeria being bad to him or her. i work mostly online with foreign firm Now you work online for a foreign firm? Again, maybe I need glasses. One thing is certain. You're not a straight forward honest person else the title of your post should be "My UK Japa. Never lie on your application and do proper research before travelling" So, here are my final thoughts on the matter: - You are not who you say you are in Nigeria - You're not serious minded hence the mental laziness to do proper research to even survive in the UK - You're definitely not a Dev. or coder (Oh dear lord) as you mention it - You're an attention seeker - And lastly, definitely not honest or trustworthy Best of luck! 1 Like |

CookieBrown: You have a problem. I bet you have never seen 1 million naira before. I said I started the process with 15 million when naira was 560 to pounds on cbn rate (26,000 pounds) but ur leaders who knows next to nothing brought policies that took naira over to a 1000. I had already started then I had to sourced 15 million naira to cover up. Are you pained that I said I have a business still functioning in Nigeria? Well I left Nigeria for one reason, and insecurity, failed government policies, lies from government, tribalism and insult from persons like you who see their self as always right. I could afford to leave UK now and try elsewhere... That's my choice and my writeup are my personal opinion as I am entitled to freedom of speech. 4 Likes |

erico2k2: All those things you mentioned are honestly true but they all need certification first and also experience... Having work in similar places. For amazon I have applied. Even to work as a security you have to get certain certification and training that will cost you almost 1 million naira.. Google sia training and learn about more Now am on two training to get certifications from the but this certifications is cost money. |

fullclub: Fight it out there o. Don't ever think of coming back to Nigeria till you stabilize there. Nigeria is still on autopilot, moving backward and a little forward. In 5 years time you will be happy that you leave this hell called a country. I wish you all the best in your endeavor. Please don't listen to all these naysayers on nairaland blaming you for leaving the hell hole. Most of them are not different from our greedy politician, they live flamboyantly on proceeds of sharp practices, corruption, fraud, etc and that's why they can't leave the country. Some of them who claimed they have businesses or investment here are mostly liars , their business practices are embodiment of corruption. As at today real business owners are lamenting. People are facing tough time now. We just pray it gets better. Just believe with time things will be better for you there. Don't ever look back to your vomit. Pursue your goals with unwavering commitment in the face of challenges.Face your new path and you will conquer your fear. |

Getting jobs on indeed is very difficult. Use agency please. I got job as soon as my brp came out. All the jobs I searched on indeed none was successful. Search for job agency around you. You just need information to get started. If you talk about housing crises in uk I will understand but jobs especially factory and cleaning is rampant for full time workers in uk. Sorry about your stress. 5 Likes |
