Most of the money was paid by Igbo traders.

Without Igbos Nigeria will crumble.

Why so tribalistic? Sebi the Igbo traders sell to themselves alone?

Yes, Igbo baby factory merchants sell produced babies to their fellow Igbos alone. That is why DNA will never be allowed in Igboland.

People should use that port regularly to reduce the chaos in Lagos. I know that Onne-Trailer Park axis of the East-West road is always gridlocked, but that's nothing compared to what happens in Lagos.

That road need to be urgently fixed. Very horrible for logistics companies.

Beautiful news.

Statistics show that 60% of the containers arriving in this country are heading to the SE and Onne port is much closer. If not for government bureaucracy such as poor infrastructure, this port will handle more tonnage of cargo than Lagos port

As you brag with importation, make efforts to establish companies that produce locally those things you import so you don't start crying of victimisation when the government decides to ban certain imported items.
Let your government improve electricity and remove double taxation from the system. The prices of locally made goods with poor quality is higher than imported ones from overseas. Let the local companies produce something quality like NIGERIAN Wires and Cables and see how people will stop importing some certain things. Nigerian wires and cable is the king of electrical wires in Nigeria. their quality is best. Your stupid government keeps banning what their citizens can't produce and compete with good from other countries.

Customs should do their jobs instead of bothering much about revenue generation. They are stiffling d citizens and their businesses to make money. Nigeria can't move forward with this

Double taxation. That's why goods and services are expensive in Nigeria. After clearing a 40ft container with 9 million. Have to recover my money men.

Is it government wey never get themself go produce most of those things we import? Don't forget that Igbos are producing most of those items by themselves. We have the money to build the company here. So even if the government ban it, our Igbo billionaires will build the company in Igboland and produce it here. If the government decide to monopolize everything, the whole country will bear the blunt.

There are things you can't import through onne

They should make all ports equal

You can't import chemicals, pharmaceutical, textiles through onne... Mostly just machineries

are you half human to the Igbo, why not make the effort and produce those things ode.

Igbis have locally produced more things than anyone in this country except agricultural, products. After making effort to extablish production companies the government which your people held will always find a way to destroy it
