The "ant" was expecting a million other "ants" from other nations to join it in biting the "elephant" to death but the ant was betrayed by his fellow brother ants who didn't show up.

BTW, your analogy is flawed. Hamas attacking Israel is more like a solitary hyena attacking a lion. It will die trying to fight lion alone. A pack of hyena however, is a different ball game.

Israel has powerful allies, Hamas is basically a lone warrior betrayed by his brother nations of Arabs, some of them powerful enough to give Israel a run for it's money. Eg Qatar, Saudi Arabia, Egypt, Turkey.
