Gwin007: This is a big no no. Stay and grow your business. The devil you know is better than the angel you don't know and trust me, Europe right now is no angel! If you had a work permit for even care job, I would say go. But japa without a clear plan is always a disaster! Stay here and grow your business. If you still want to japa, get work visa pls |

Gwin007: Please please please do not do this. I’ve seen lots of Nigerian without papers here in America and life is rough! The imagery many have of abroad is a snare. Without the right papers you will be working in very very low paying jobs, with potential abuse because you have no legal protection. With that low paying job you will have to pay rent, phone bill, transportation, food. I haven’t included electricity and water because some apartments sometimes cover that. You will have very little to send home. This process will take minimum about 10 years, if you are hustling legally. Within those years your children are growing up without a strong father figure, and your wife is over hustling. The world is rough, your kids need guidance, not a hope of Europe or America. They will not know you. You can’t get home because you are not legal. You will be depressed. The solution you will be tempted with is to marry someone over there. You have just broken your marriage vows. God cannot bless that. You will not be the same man that left Nigeria. The intimacy with your wife will diminish, if not disappear. And all for what? Because you were looking for gold in a barren land. Poverty can make you do things you never expected. You will be in that Europe and yes, it is pretty and nice but you will not feel it, because you are working like a dog to make ends meet. Not to talk of how little you will feel as a black man without the covering of money to protect you from racism. Please take that 5,000,000 Naira and apply it to your business at home. Be patient and write out how you can use it efficiently. That mental peace you have as a father and husband will be a maximum support. Another thing people don’t tell you. Relationships are cold over here. Not that you can’t find other Nigerians to connect with, but man people are too busy. I hope you really listen to this. It is not worth it. Invest your money there, grow it, then you can consider moving as a student way later. You and your wife can accomplish much together. 2 Likes 1 Share |

CoronaVirusPro:I don't support this advice. Someone that is going to find the way for himself and his family, and yorie saying he should go with his family? How will he fend for himself, wife and children in a new place with 5m? Think about it! I'll advice he goes alone, if at all he wants to travel. And he should travel legitimately and ALONE. |

Gwin007: My guy do you read international news? Don't just move like that oh. You have to calculate your net benefits before making a decision. I don't know what you intend to do abroad but if you don't already have a business abroad or a ready job waiting for you I will not advise that you abandon small progress made at home for starting from scratch in Europe. Also how sure are you that your wife will manage the business as you would or even better? Do your calculations here. Don't plan with what you hope to achieve rather plan with what you can achieve given your resources now and the hope on GOD. |

This your information is not complete, you didn’t say which country you’re heading to. That information is very crucial. Even without that I will tell you that visitor visa is a NO NO. In most developed countries is almost impossible to change your tourist status, do not allow any agent fool you. Your life your choice. |

I will advise you to travel. It's going to be better for those kids. 1. Nigeria is not getting better. 2. You will make more money. 3. Health care. 4. Security. 5. Better environment. 6. Trouble free or less trouble. 7. Healthy lifestyle. 8. Your kids future will be secured. Eventually, they'll come to Europe. Bro please travel. Anyone telling you not to travel is your enemy. Had it been Nigeria is getting better,I would suggest you stay. No place like home. |

Gwin007: Never go to any country with visit visa if you intend staying, your budget is enough for some European countries work visa, although the process might take 4-8months but it's worth waiting for, again remove your mind from moving to any country with visit visa, you'll live to regret for the rest of your life if you try that |

Re: Leaving My Wife And Kids To Travel Abroad by kinethic: 4:05am On Nov 11, 2023 |
Gwin007: Do not ever travel to any Country with tourist visa with the hope to stay permanently. It is not going to happen. Tourists visa are for tourism, once it expires you are done, you must leave. If you do not you become an illegal alien and you would be living a restless and difficult life that you will regret. Do not believe anyone that tells you it is the best route to go. Do not waste your money rather invest in your business and grow your money , at the right time you can search more information about the process of relocating your family with you to anywhere. Do not be in a hurry to follow the crowd. One of the things that gives dignity is to travel on holiday and come back to your Country. I repeat do not waste your money. Do not go that route . You do not have a skill that would be essential to your survival and obtain alien resident or work permit. Build your business and do not let the trend steal away your hard earned money. Do not do it. Wke up and smell the coffee. |

That money is not enough to travel out and leave your family behind to hustle, especially with a tourist visa. If i were you, I'd reinvest in my business and work hard to make it profitable enough to ensure that it brings more money to enable me & my family relocate legally and with peace of mind. I don't know what kinda business you do but I'm willing to help build you a website for free to help elevate your business as well as give it a wider reach. Cheers. |

Hi bros. How soon can one get a residence permit with a work permit in Poland if one chooses this path you advised. It takes longer time to get an appointment from the Polish embassy in Nigeria. I have someone who already has a permit. Please advise accordingly. Abydupank: |

Several people I'm acquainted with, who initially traveled on tourist visas years ago, now hold both work and/or residence permits. Their prolonged stays stem from various reasons—some pursue asylum, others, unmarried upon arrival, swiftly wedded locals. Those possessing sought-after skills applied to companies for sponsorship visas. If you find yourself in such a situation, seeking advice from an immigration lawyer is crucial. Abeg, By all means Japa! and strive for a brighter future for your family! |

OGsponstaneous: I am a woman. So once you have a work permit, arrive in Poland and go to those smaller cities around silesia or dabrowa, that's where you should register your residence permit as there is usually queue in lublin, warsaw and poznan. It takes about 2-3months after biometrics and application, if refused appeal takes like 2 weeks.. I suggest to get appointment in Nigeria u better buy as I also bought or apply schengen from some other consulate like France, Luxembourg who gives Visas faster and more easily.. and just use that to travel to Poland.. and use his work permit.. |
