Congratulations, please did you upload upfront medical, I got response from them to provide more evidence on my sowp which have done that, going to a month now I didn't receive any message from them

Please who has SOWP timeline of late August. I applied Aug 28th, medical passed 1st Sept. and since two months plus it has been on Background Check.

After many mails and web forms pleading for intervention I just got informed by IRCC agents on call that BG is completed and Eligibility is pending (ongoing) which is yet to reflect on my portal. How many more days do I wait as I have already booked my flight for 13th November. The financial implication of changing to a near date (over 500k) is really killing.

Anyone knows what Qatar air charges for flight cancelation for a refund?

They left an hour ago.

Study visa will not require return tickets.

For the child on VV, don’t buy the ticket until the morning of departure. I used a $CAD credit card.

I bought it this morning because all airlines allow you to cancel any flight you buy within 24 hours of purchase.

As soon as they let them through, I cancelled it.

In my case the VV was 1 year old, so I bought an adult ticket and added her as infant.

Does it suggest I didn't fill some key information about my spouse study in Canada?

It will be safer for u to rebook that ticket probably for first week of december. But they sometimes drop ppr on weekend in the evening so u may wait till morning before u rebook. All the best

I welcome my family to Canada on Sunday. The procedure is seamless. At the CBSA, they requested my means of identification from my wife and inquired how long I had been here. To everyone waiting to unite with their family, I wish you all good news soonest. We shall reap the good fruits of this Canada in Jesus' name.

Thanks, is it necessary to use my own portal (study) that already gotten his study visa to apply for SWOP for Spouse and SP for the kids ?

Or can I open another account??

Please use the same portal where u have gotten ur own visa to add more applications.

In july, I applied for visitor's visa as "legally separated" and got the visa approved this november. My divorce also got finalized in August and I am marrying my fiancee this december.

My fiancee is currently schooling in canada and her student visa expires in May 2024, though her program ends in september so she will process an extension, sh also qualifies for a 3-year pgwp after school

My questions are

1- Is it ok to apply for SOWP in december, will it in anyway affect the Visitor's Visa that I already have
2- Do I need to update my marital status before applying for SOWP, if so, where do I do that
3- What is the best way to package my application and what is a reasonable POF for this
