The beating can't be reversed 100% but deterrent must be set in other to prevent repetition of such crass act in the future.

When people were starving and dying during Buhari’s cash crunch policy just a few months ago did this Ajaero declare a strike?

If he didn’t he is yet another misguided fellow with misplaced priorities. Nigeria is full of such people sha so he is in good company.

I also saw the video but the video does not speak to the cause of his death.

The cause of death is still sketchy, but I doubt we will hear much from the family. He will most likely be buried soon and everybody will forget about it.

Just like u rightly said, Las las we should all pay more attention to our health

The moment a Labor leaders goes outside his office responsibilities to insert himself in politics, he can collect like Politicians dey collect, Fayose a sitting governor once collected. If he wants to be a full time politician he should step down like Oshiomole and go into politics. Normal politicians dey always get bodyguards wey dey protect dem from collecting but he wan use Labor runs sneak into politics

If you Ellexy decide to leave your work and go dey argue ball with agberos inside Rowe Park during work time and you collect bottle for head shey you sef go shut down work?

First of all this lie that he went for personal business need to be stopped. He was in the state[Imo] for an official Labour assignment about the backlog of unpaid salaries of some workers in the state and of course the governor being the chief security of the state wasn't happy about it. How's that a personal business?

The Nigerian Police arrested him before handing him over to hired thugs to beat the living daylight out of him. Maybe he should have been murdered before the matter would have been taken seriously. What is bad is bad.

It's funny how you criticise Ajaero for going for unpaid salaries. What does it matter if it was two days to elections, should those workers starve till after elections when it makes sense to you?

How you absolve the government of any blame baffles me.

An official assignment on a working day is now a personal assignment lol. Well that aside, what Hope did to him should never happen to anyone talk more of the Labour Leader. The number one commander of the aluta comrades and all the state chapters across Nigeria agree on that.

You are the defending the indefensible here bro. There's what they call "frolic" in law which means an employee takes a major departure from the scope of his employment for the employee's own benefit. That is what Ajaero did in this Imo state matter.

Ajaero is an Imo state indigene who happens to be the NLC president. Obviously, he has serious interest in whoever emerges the Imo state governor and he didn't hide this bias considering his actions and inactions in the run-off to the elections. Abi how do u explain NLC president declaring strike in Imo state 10 days to the governorship election?

U claimed the initial November 1st strike in Imo was him fighting for the interest of Imo state workers who have not been paid salaries, but I did some diggings and discovered those workers were 11,000 of them whom Imo state government tagged "Ghost workers". Ajaero on the other hand believes they are hardworking individuals.

My question is this: If the state government says those 11,000 workers are ghost workers and Ajaero's led NLC believes otherwise, where was Ajaero all through the 20 months (Almost 2 years) they've not been paid? Why didn't NLC declare the strike December 2022, January 2023, February 2023, etc ? Why wait till 10 days to a governorship election ?

Isn't it obvious Ajaero was all out to move against the incumbent governor and have him replaced with his preferred candidate in the hope that his own candidate will defeat the incumbent courtesy of the dust that will be raised by the industrial action and total blackout he ordered in the state?

For the first time I will agree with Bayo Onanuga who rightly said Ajaero miscalculated. He miscalculated and misjudged Hope Uzodinma when he decided to enter the ring with him. He obviously didn't know Hope Uzodinma cares less about the rules; he didn't know Hope can play really really dirty and he found out

Bruh my own be say beating an NLC chairman like a common thief is not right. That's not politics even if Hope thinks he was interfering. It doesn't even make any sense as Hope was going to win anyway because of the APC rigging machinery backing him.

We are also not saying it's right to beat the NLC president. All we are saying is that while at his work as the NLC president, Ajaero decided to pull off that red NLC uniform and take on the garb of a politician. The full time politicians(Hope and associates ) decided to give a dose of what politicians do to each other.

We've seen videos of Fayose and Dino Melaye with injuries dished out to them by fellow politicians . More like they just give Ajaero a "tip of the ice block" for venturing into a terrain he is unfamiliar with

So NLC should just keep quiet and accept the beating and disgrace dished to them by the APC led government?

If Ajaero had gone for his mother's burial, and then got beaten by thugs, would the Strike then make sense to you?

If he was beaten while buying corn, would you join a strike if he called fir it, since we now need a reason to know why anybody should be beaten up.

Fvk NLC, but why should anybody think it is okay to physically assault an NLC Chairman, for whatever reason it is?

lol. Which NLC ?

Is it only Ajaero that makes up the NLC ? Ajaero clearly has his own personal interest in the politics of his home state, he should find ways to settle his differences with the politicians in that state; he shouldn't drag the other 35 states and FCT workers with him while they are resolving their differences.
