raumdeuter: Yes. Absolutely yes. As long as the perpetrators are not dealt with, he should take action If Tinubu goes for Hajj and Saudi thugs beat him up, the FG shouldn't take action because Tinubu wasn't on an official assignment? That guy is the leader of 60 million workers. If Imo state and the FG want to hide the thugs, he should take action, and that is what he did. 2 Likes |

BlueRayDick: I have not defended Ajaero for not striking when it was important. I am simply surprised that you are throwing stones at him for being political, when he was also doing the same for the Obi you supported. I can't remember you calling him out then 2 Likes |

izzou: If he can identify the thugs and point them to police will be a good start He needs to report the beating to police, give identity or what he remembers from the incident Let the police do their work and hand justice to the culprit But no he wants to strike So if Saudi thugs beat Tinubu while on Hajj, next thing will be for Tinubu to call all Nigerians in Saudi to resign their jobs and return home? 2 Likes |

raumdeuter: The FG can suspend bilateral relations with Saudi. They would use what their powers can achieve to get a result. Ajaero just used his. And nobody should be physically assaulted for their political choices. There should be no justification for that. 4 Likes 1 Share |

Re: EPL Chatroom - All Discussions by BlueRayDick: 6:33pm On Nov 15, 2023 |
izzou: Go and read my reply to Ellexy . Ajaero simply went on a frolic in Ino state simply because he wants to use his official position as NLC president to determine who would eventually win Imo state elections . If Ajaero had done the same during the presidential I would definitely have called him out . I don't dwell on false equivalence 3 Likes |

BlueRayDick: How exactly did he want to use his official position to determine the next governor of Imo state? Help me with links on how he was trying to do this |
Re: EPL Chatroom - All Discussions by Itsrm(m): 6:36pm On Nov 15, 2023 |
What I think is that, the election gave Ajaero and NLC an opportunity to force Uzodinma into meeting their demands. They thought Uzodinma who had an election to win will be forced to yield to them. Unknown to them, uzodinma already perfected his rigging plans with INEC. Even if everyone in Imo had dropped dead the night before, he still would have won. Ajaero was not necessarily playing politics in the real sense of it. He wanted to take advantage of an opportunity. There's no justification whatsoever for him to have been beaten that way. My only problem with him is that the we the masses have been suffering since BAT made the infamous subsidy is gone statement and he has never been able to muster courage to go on strike. If he had gone on strike then, BAT would have reversed his decision and we can all rally behind him now. The government cannot be beating the citizens with hardship and you're crying they beat you in Owerri. 1 Like |

Re: EPL Chatroom - All Discussions by raumdeuter: 6:40pm On Nov 15, 2023 |
izzou: Nobody should be assaulted for their political choices, Nobody should use their official capacity for their personal gains as well The right thing to do will be to resign as NLC chairman and face politics full time |
Re: EPL Chatroom - All Discussions by izzou(m): 6:40pm On Nov 15, 2023 |
Itsrm: I agree with you. They have not lived up to par. My only reason to join this argument was how it became very okay to see an NLC Chairman beaten for not breaking the law. We can be angry because he is selfish...That one is okay 2 Likes |

izzou: The German police were given space to do their work and apprehend the culprits, FG didnt say all Nigerians in Germany should stop work and report home because Ekweremadu was beaten Ajaero should approach police and let them fish out those who beat him |
Re: EPL Chatroom - All Discussions by izzou(m): 6:43pm On Nov 15, 2023 |
raumdeuter: Okay, he has heard you. But he is on strike now. This will give the police morr time to fish them out. |
Re: EPL Chatroom - All Discussions by Itsrm(m): 6:45pm On Nov 15, 2023 |

izzou: Carry ur phone and Google what prompted the NLC strike in Imo on November 1st . Ajaero suddenly woke up and decided it was time to fight for workers who have not been paid for almost 2 years . It was time to fight that fight 10 days to an election . I've never said it's justified he was beaten . What I said was that he knew the game he was playing . His only mistake was miscalculating and misjudging the price Uzodinma was willing to pay both legally and illegally to return as governor . 3 Likes |

BlueRayDick: So, this is exactly how he intended to use his official position to determine the next governor? No link of him telling workers to vote LP No link denying that they were not owed for 2 years Just because he started a strike on November 1, he was political. So now that elections are over, will it be political to call for a strike for Imo state workers being owed for 2 years? 1 Like |
