I am not really impressed, we are exporting raw materials in agriculture and mining products, except for Liberia that import our finished products like cosmetics, alcoholic beverages and sandals. We need to engage in turning most of these raw materials we export into finished goods, thereby enhancing employment and adding value to our exports a la foreign exchange. Most of these countries with sound economy are major exporter of finished products. We still have a long way to go in turning our country to an industrialized one 7 Likes |

On the other hand, Northern Nigeria is importing herdsmen, bandits and Islamic terrorists, thanks to Buhari. He turned Nigeria to the final destination and adopted homeland of all herdsmen based in West Africa and issued them Passports and License to kill & kidnap with no repercussions😐😐😐

FreeStuffsNG:... FreeStuffsNG:... Can someone please give a rundown of what Nigeria in turn buys from many of the same countries so we at least get a realistic idea of what exactly one should think of investing in? Also, which of the crops or minerals listed are farmed or produced in South West Nigeria? 1 Like |

These are the things Nigeria has comparative advantage in. These are the raw materials Nigerians need to focus on added value by processing. What are the intermediate and final products derived from these raw materials? This should be the focus of the government as there is demand for the goods. Ideas such as cassava bread and rice product should come after the development of these industries. |

Kobojunkie:It's in the public domain and released every quarter. Please visit the website of the Nigerian Bureau of Statistics and download the latest report on GDP (Q3,2023). It is always very comprehensive and you will read all the details inside. Most times, news media just cut pieces and use to write report but if you are researching for answer to your kind of question, go through the report and historical data by yourself at least report from like Q1, 2022 to Q3,2023 1 Like |

Agricultural products seems to be the major thing here . Those states governors should open up to the agricultural sector. Lots of potential lies there for the nation other than engaging in projects than has no direct impact on the citizens |
