Nope.

To a Yoruba lady, her achievement is success in tech, entrepreneurship, Entertainment, Financial industry and etc.

To an Ibo lady, her major achievement is marrying a Yoruba man.

We need the Igwe of Onitsha to help look into this and curb this menace before things go out of hand.
onitsha does not have igwe

Can you see yourself?
Do you know how many Igbo ladies that are out there making it big for Igboland and Nigeria?
If you don't know, let me just give one. Ngozi Okonjo- Iweala. Hope you know her?
Tribal chauvinist like you. This is where you want to shift your energies to now. Yeye de smell.
Honestly, I get upset seeing our women doing this.
Re: Photo: Meet Association Of Igbo Yoruba Wives Of Nigeria by Armaggedon: 11:34pm On Nov 21, 2023
I thought it should disturb you that Igbo women are still strongly attracted to their own culture and identity after spending years and decades in Yoruba homes, to the extent of forming associations. The implications are enormous and far reaching.

Whether you have become foolish enough to miss such fundamental realization or you simply know but you're expressing your hurt through self consoling comic grandstanding, you should be reminded the painful reality that such marriages will make Yorubaland a cultural outpost of Igboland sooner or later. offsprings of such marriages, expecially the males will seek out Igbo girls for marriage thereby creating a near complete Igbo elite bloodline in Yorubaland. Fulani's used it to consolidate their domination of the Hausas, It made Jews gain global influence, now you are surrendering to the people you love to hate willingly and even bragging over it.

Well, it's good it's all over the net in case of revision of history in future by claiming Igbos forced women on you or the women raped you, because una shameless has no threshold.

I stumbled upon this Tweet from Akeredolu wife where she gathered the association of Igbo Yoruba wives.

This is so hilarious. Do these women now see Yoruba men as some sort of medal to the extent of forming association of Yoruba men wives?

God abeg o.

This is the stupidity and ignorance of the average Yorubaa monkey, a insidiously worrying complex of low self-esteem and a insatiable quest to have superior Igbo genes in your inferior and filthy yoruba gene pool. But who no like better person? Two things to point out here:

1). Igbo women and men alike ALWAYS have associations wherever they find themselves, so seeing association of Igbo women married to their yoruba husband's in the SW isn't some extraordinary phenomenon, Igbo women married to men from other ethnic groups in Nigeria also form associations according to their locations regardless of whom they are married to. If you go to the South South areas especially Delta and Rivers states, dem plenty for there.

2). If the purpose of this daft thread was to mock Igbo women, then it's self-indicting and a serious owngoal because it goes to prove that while Igbos maintain a pure homogeneous bloodline by marrying each other at a stable percentage of 80-90%, yorubas on the other hand now have more mixed bloods and heterogeneous genes in their bloodlines. The result of this is that in the next 10-15 years, more half bloods in yorubaland will grow to have mixed and lopsided loyalties, more half bloods will occupy top positions across the SW, more half-bloods might even define the political landscape of yorubaland cause children by nature tend to be closer to their mothers- which means those "Omo Ales" you are wary of will proliferate yorubaland in numbers, and more than half of them will tilt more towards their Igbo mothers side. Essentially you're actually mocking yourselves not Igbos cause we will ALWAYS maintain a pure bloodline while we inevitably infiltrate the mainstream fabric of yorubaland and in no time will become your legislators whether you like it or not.

It's all a well thought out plan to finalize the conquest of Lagos and yorubaland, we will always dash you our leftover 10% of women in the SW for the bigger prize, while we keep our 80% women back in the SE.

You too like tribalism yet afraid of Yoruba nation
LegendHero:
I have always thought about it.

We have a thousand wedding every Saturday for Yoruba men and let’s say maybe just 5/1000 get married to Igbo women. Suddenly, those Igbo women would pick that and run online to start celebrating that Yoruba men chose them instead of Yoruba women.

I’ve seen marriages between Yoruba men and Edo, Igala, Nupe, and even sometimes Hausa but yet these girls won’t go to the extent of celebrating and creating wives association.

Someone need a research on why Igbo women see marrying Yoruba men as a Medal of Honor.

Inter-tribal marriage is something we should promote if we really want to foster national unity and also bail out the water of negative tribalism we currently found ourselves. Aside the ugly scenes of the civil war, I honestly don't think Nigeria has ever been this divided across ethnic lines.

I strongly support. That's the only way we can build a nation.

Re: Photo: Meet Association Of Igbo Yoruba Wives Of Nigeria by banku: 7:40pm On Nov 22, 2023
I am surprised that most people do not know that a Yoruba man is not married until he married a Yoruba woman.

Most of those that married other ethnic groups either have Yoruba wives or eventually get one.

As for Igbo women, who nor like better tin.
