neuroboy4: Mexico doesn't issue tourist visas to Nigeria. You need to get an American, Schengen or japanese visa. 2 Likes |

tensazangetsu20: what do you think about this: https://mexico-e-visa.com/mexico-tourist-land-card/ Do you think the tourist card is a sufficient document? or it's useless without a visa This is just for a 1-week business trip/ event |

Good evening. Please I need your help and advise. I travelled to Mexico 3weeks ago on vacation. Unfortunately, I got robbed. Someone stole my bag that had my travel documents and other valuable items. I live in Canada and I am a temporary work permit resident. I reported the theft to the police in Cancun, got all required documents to present at the Nigeria high commission to enable me get an emergency passport. The embassy said they don’t issue passports but gave me a letter to present at boarding. I was at the airport today and was denied boarding. Please can anyone advise me on how to handle this. I am stranded in Mexico! Thank you. |

MzMisty: FP means front page and MOD means moderators You have been on this site since 2020 and should know these abreviations Anyway sorry to hear you are stranded. Create a new thread in this travel section tag a mod like seun justwise or nlfpmod. They will move the thread to front page so that more Nigerians can see it and tell you what to do. Thread tittle should be catchy like 'Help!!! I was robbed and I am stranded in Mexico' 1 Like |

MzMisty:So sorry about your ordeal. But I think it's still a better option, since you can't go back to Canada, why not sneak into the US through the Mexico border side and find your way to Canada from there, since the border is wide open now!!!🕊️🕊️🕊️ And you can probably seek asylum in the US as a refugee if you are no longer recognize or accepted at the Canadian border side. No shades! No offense!! Just an opinion. 1 Like |

Sorry to hear about your ordeal. I am surprised that you were still denied boarding with an authentic travel document from the embassy, and a police report from the Mexican authorities. Please elaborate on the reason for the denial and that will help folks provide appropriate advice. I also think you will need something from the Canadian authorities indicating you are allowed to enter the country. MzMisty: 1 Like |

Dear All, I am currently working with a multinational in Nigeria as an IT Project Manager and there seems to be an opening in Mexico for the same role. I want to consider the Mexico option but I need to know what life is like in Mexico. The company is going to provide papers for me and my family. Kindly advise. |

Go for it. Is it in Mexico city? It's a modern city and you'll enjoy your time there. Since you'll be going with your family, it's not like you'll be alone. Honestly, Mexico is just like Nigeria or anywhere else. There are safe places and there are unsafe places. It's even better that you're relocating with a multinational - there will be guidance for getting an apartment etc. fattech: 2 Likes |

Please help guys I’m conflicted, on the website it says UK visa holders can enter Mexico but I’ve also heard from people that you can’t gain entry into Mexico with a Uk visa only Schengen or US visa etc. |

Lishabb: The truth is while a UK C-visit is technically accepted. They give a lot of hassle on it now especially with Africans as they know a lot are trying to use the country as a launch pad. Also make sure you have visited the UK first and have sufficient Proof of funds. A visa not BRP o 1 Like |
