Ambode is just a coward. That's the simple fact. Bode George has been fighting Tinubu from day one and nothing has happened. 19 Likes 1 Share |

Who said he did not fight back? He contested a direct party primary without the support of the political structures that got him there, and he lost woefully and democratically. 22 Likes 5 Shares |

Localemperor: He had no hope. The entire structure has been created to benefit whoever Tinubu wants. You don't know ow Tinubu would rather lose the presidential election than lose the grip on lagos state 11 Likes 1 Share |

Chinjo2: eeyah See how an average Igbo thinks. The moment you decided to hold your peace and refuse to go into a needles and foolish fight you already know you are not capable of winning, you automatically become a coward! Who exactly is he gonna fight? Tinubu Lagos APC ? You mentioned Bode George, since Bode George has bn fighting Tinubu, has he won the fight. Not going into a fight you know you cannot win is not a sign of cowardice, it is the use of common sense. common sense is not common to some cretins though That is why they always engage in foolish fights and end up shooting themselves in the leg and end up screaming they hate us 19 Likes 3 Shares |

You only fight back when you have the power. Ambode was simply powerless against Tinubu. Who is Ambode if not for Tinubu that brought him up. Some people you can’t fight, but you can save fight for another day. 1 Like |

If Ambode knew obaseki could put up a good fight and defeat his political godfather,he could have as well put up a fight but chicken out did more damage to his prestige and reputation. In life, it is better to try and fail than not to try at all cos life itself is all about taking risk. 2 Likes |

Localemperor:As he was seeing the handwriting on the wall, I will not have contested the APC primaries. I will jeljelly leave them and decamp to PDP earlier on, they would definitely give him ticket, the rest would have been history by now. PDP was still strong in Lagos then, Tinubu still had enemies then that will work against him. 1 Like |

Usmanovic95: Oshiomole is not a godfather. He doesn’t even have the APC structure fully in his grasp within that same Edo state. Edo state generally is a swing state, it could swing to PDP or APC so Oshiomole wouldn’t have been able to play absolute godfather in Edo. Oshiomole is just an ex Governor that help his successor get to power. There are only few political godfathers in Nigeria. Ambode can attempt to go against Lagos structure, but I’m 100% sure he will not be able to defeat them. So he will come out with more losses than gain. 6 Likes 2 Shares |

Godfullsam: People like would have advised Obaseki not to fight against his godfather, Tinubu and the APC because he got little chance of winning But he fought and today his better for it. Are you telling me if an individual like wike was lagos state governor, do you expect such an individual to give up so easily, no! Tinubu is not God. He is a human no man is infallible. The truth is there come a time in a man's life that he fight his fears. A make or break fight. 1 Like |
