Truly, none was ever like Trybesmen.

It was part of the same collective. The first 3 formed Trybesmen way back in the mid to late 90s. Then in the early 2000s when younger guys started hanging out with them the OGs formed Da Trybe which was the original 3 Trybesmen PLUS the young ones.

Trybesmen and Swat Root were the ones that initially saved Nigerians from wackawickee MCs before Rugged Man dealt wackawickee MCs the death blow.

Cannot happen. The entire area is dense untouched rainforest, no road or rails nothing. How is a nation that can't even feed itself going to supply food and fuel to an army to do this. Logistics win wars and venuzuela is the definition of a society incapable of logistics. They are just making empty noise.

I think Eldee was a producer in Atlanta. He was working with upcomers...and in an interview, he claimed that the money he was making from them was bigger than what he was making in Naija.

Anyway, with the way things turned around now, our artistes are almost on per with A list American artists in terms of income generation now...and even global dominance

Omo...I do t know.if I feel pity or anger towards Modo. He was talented. He could have diversified and evolved with music and time. Even those American artists like Nas and jayz who were among the artists he listens to, diversified. It's not only about remaining true to your craft, its about making money too.

If with all that talent and you can't make money, omo you blame yourself.

After all.... "if it don't make money, then it don't make sense"

His choice of beat are always sounding the same. Beats from late 80s and early 90s. Wtf was all that. Same flow pattern with his gruff voice. Shey na only wordplay, metaphors and similes people go dey listen to? They need an over all good music.

Him going broke was inevitable. I noticed he has some new drops this year but no one noticed. I checked it out and it's still same old shit. Mode nine na mumu wey no wan help himself abeg.
