I just had a UK Visa refusal for the second time. I had taken key learnings from here to support the second application but I was surprised that it was met with a refusal. Reason? That I had over 5 million within the period of report. However, this money which they saw as credit into my account was a wrong debit on my POF account that was reversed. The case officer didn't interpret it as a reversal but took it as a new credit. Second reason was that the amount I put to spend on the 2 weeks trip is too much for that period. I put that amount considering flight return ticket and my expenses in the UK but the case officer just took it that I wanted to spend that alone in the UK. Moving forward, I have a wedding that I have been invited for February 2024. I would like to know if it's still fine to reapply in January and what steps I can take to improve my chances for an approval. Lastly, what amount would be recommended as ideal to put as money I intend to spend to avoid them saying "this form of expenditure on a short trip of this nature is disproportionate to your current circumstances". 1 Like |

Daddie1:You may think they are out to get you. In truth it was what you put in the application they are using to nail you. |

Daddie1: Take a screenshot of your refusals. Edit the pictures and put ink on your name and company and your address. Or anything anybody on here can use to identify you and upload. 1 Like |

Re: General UK Visa Enquiries - Part 5 by Ashirioluwa: 4:32pm On Dec 01, 2023 |
DaveWonder: The ban has nothing to do with any of the airlines; it's the Federal Airport Authority of Nigeria that banned the use of that bag in any of the Nigerian airports. |

DaveWonder: Airlines don’t have anything to do with it. It’s the FAAN who placed the ban. The problem will be at baggage checkpoints or check in 1 Like |

ladylco: Thanks for your response. I sent someone there yesterday (Friday) in Abuja. They told the person that they have issues with their system and I will get an email before the end of the day (of which I didn't get it still). This is suggesting to me that the application has left DMC (I may be wrong). Also thinking, for me not to have gotten any rejection email, could that suggest it has been approved? Not sure if anyone has experienced same before. Thank you |

SPDAZZY: Solid idea for those with loads of documents. I think it's also better for those with lots of confusing documents to do self scan. Those guys at TLS are usually irritated when you try to ensure they do not miss out anything or try to guide them on the pattern of arrangements that will make the whole thing make sense. They usually demonstrates irritation and want to do it their own way. 1 Like |

Milito:No. the results or final response to PAP is after 3months, and you might want to reapply within 3months, then no need for PAP/JR since you are ready to readdress thier concerns and make possible corrections. The only people that might be a victim of JR are those that claim asylum went on to Judicial Review and lost again. |
