Are you saying with a tier 2 qualification but with Pgde, it will pass for assessment right?

I really don't know. I'm just saying that the ITE is what aitsl insists should be on AQF 7 and other degrees can be on AQF 6. I thought maybe you know someone that has gotten a negative assessment with a tier 2 degree +pgde that's why the new update was put out. I also don't know.

From their checklist, it indicated that other other qualification leading to a 4 yr course should b equivalent to their AQF 6 which is associate degree + ITE. Pls @tunlex, if u knw anyone that has a negative outcome u tell us, or if there's a place we can get the information of what u r saying,u let us knw

Greetings to everyone, please I need clarification on something I saw on Vetassess website.

Qualification and employment criteria
continued...
A positive assessment of both qualification level and
employment duration is required for a positive Skills
Assessment outcome.
Qualification
AQF Diploma or higher qualification*
Highly relevant major fields of study include:
» Building Surveying

I am a civil engineer though my job description is building Inspector. I didn’t do building surveying in school, what I did is engineering surveying.

Will this factor affect my assessment?

I have just reviewed the report again from AITSL. You are right, It's the initial teacher education that must be AQF 7. Other non-education courses can be AQF6 and above.

I will modify the update.

It may pass for the occupation, so give it a go.

Was the engineering surveying in your transcript?

I have reviewed the report again. It's the ITE that has to be AQF7.
The person actually submitted NCE and AQF7 and still got a negative assessment.
I have recommended applying again with just the AQF7 degree

Before the person applies again, which of the degrees did the person choose as their ITE, was it the AQF7 or NCE? If the person had chosen the AQF7 education degree as the ITE, they would not have been negatively assessed for the NCE, that is my opinion. Also the teaching practice evidence must be from the AQF 7 degree and AQF 7 degree must be up to 4years.
I'm saying this because I know people that do NCE before degree usually start from 200level or so.
So if the person would assess again, they should apply with their AQF 7 as their ITE, and still put the NCE to make up the 4years if the AQF7 is not up to 4years.

Good day good people of Nairaland...
I have followed the thread from the previous one...
but please I need a candid answer to this question: Is it compulsory that I go through Assessment before submitting my EOI...?

A honest answer please...

what could be the consequences if i decide to go ahead without going through the assessment...

NB: I am already qualified to apply or so i guess with this: 70

For number 2 below

What else should I provide after sending employment letter, reference letter, promotion letter, CAC certificate, CV, organogram, pay slip, tax certificate.

Please family, help me with what else I can send to Vetassess. My skill is Cafe Manager.

Yes it will affeect your assessment, but it doesnt matter
Engineers Australai willl probably give you an "Engioneerign Technologist" assessment.

It osdes not matter , as all you need is to get all points to qulaify for the visa
After visa giotten, the job market is your role.

Applying again might be a waste of time and resources for the person if the AQF7 is Single Honour (B.Sc or B.A) and not Double Honour (B.Sc.Ed or B.A.Ed) or even Single Honour B.ED.

The ITE for Double Honour (B.Sc.Ed or B.A.Ed) or Single Honour (B.ED) are done at the University Undergraduate Level.

The ITE For Single Honour (B.Sc or B.A), should be done at the University Postgraduate level inform of (PGDE) and should be available to get a Positive Assessment.

Most NCE holders in Nigeria tend to go for Single honour B.Sc/B.A at the University level because they have already done their ITE at the College level already which works for us here in Nigeria.

But the reality here is AITSL does not accept ITE done at the College level.

I thought their request is clear.
Provide all that is asked for. They just need clear evidence to indicate the company exists. Bills you pay like PHCN, delivery payment, your company bank statement, pictures etc

these occupations are all employer sponsored visas and the likelihood of getting a job as a security consultant from outside Australia is almost zero.

I think i have raised Social Professional NEC occupation with you. That's where Parole officer occupation is, however it's a level 1 occupation which requires a bachelors degree.

Is there anyone who has assessed a level 1 occupation with Vetassess with BSc (tier 2) + PGD?

Though I am planning to assess with Vetassess as a building inspector since that’s what my job description is.
I studied civil engineering but working as a building inspector for state government.

I’d appreciate your opinion on this.

Good day everyone, and weldone to everyone sharing information

Please I have a peculiar question,

I currently have applications for skilled migration but it’s taking long, I am at the stage where I’m waiting for state/territory nomination for 491/190 Visas.

I have an uncle in Australia who advised that my girlfriend (I plan to marry her next year) should apply for masters. The plan will be for me to apply under her application and leave together.

1. If she applies and we’re married, can my uncle be her sponsor? (Uncle in law?)

2. As I’m doing all these, if I am nominated for my 491/190 visa, will there be an issue of having multiple visa applications at once? Also, what happens if we get to Australia before they answer me? Is there a way I can complete the 491/190 process and change our visa from student to 491/190?
Re: DIY Guide To Australian Permanent Resident Visa - Part 2 by Morp: 12:41am On Dec 05, 2023
1. Not advisable. Proving that your generous uncle would leave you and everyone directly related to him to sponsor someone that just married into your family is not that straight forward and your application should be as simple as possible.

2. If you arrive Australia on student visa, you can transition to 491/190 without problem and you won't be the first. However, submitting 2 application at the same time isn't advisable.

In addition, @stevepeter2100, the timeline will determine if you can apply.
If you have a student application in progress which have not been granted yet and you get invitation for skilled visa, if you apply for the skilled visa, your student visa will be declined due to GTE as you will no longer be considered as a genuine temporary entrant for a student visa. However if you have landed in Australia on student visa, you are good.

Also consider your circumstance. You are currently claiming points as a single, ensure you update your EOI as soon as you get married because you are not allowed to enter into a relationship or get married if you get ITA for 491/190 until after you have landed in Australia. That's an easy refusal of your skilled visa for the CO.

If you eventually want to go ahead with the student application, ensure that you pick a uni in the state that has your occupation on their list and you can meet their criteria. The moment you land onshore, your chances go from 8 of 8 states to 1 of 8 states because other state will not nominate you except you live, work or study in their state. Only WA made exception to this rule in this financial year and that may or may not continue next year.

Just a few points to take note.
