Yeah the guy dey confident let's see how he develops

Plenty players have flattered to deceive at U17 level and never matured

E.g Sinama Pongolle and Le Tallec of 2001 wey Liverpool rushed to buy. No need mentioning the Nigerian or African guys wey shine for U17 and no make am

I'm even sure he's better than that Gbanchez that is currently manning my post. He is really confident like you said. All cannot make it for sure but at least there should be one or two who can go on to be great. At least Germany people can use this one to guide before their upcoming flogging in the euros.

Some can make any argument you have against sport betting against crypto even stock market and many investments

You are right, but betting is becoming a pandemic in Nigeria. The high level of poverty in the Country is also forcing people into playing and losing heavily..

But then, the government can ban alcohol, crypto, etc.

This thing is getting out of hand, and na the truth be that.

It is the duty of the government to protect the people, even from themselves.

they say if you want to kick an addiction you have to modify your environment and eliminate exposure to triggers

but guess what

betting ads and apps are everywhere.

go to google play store - they are there in most populr apps
go to your banking app - betting option is there
go to any site without adblock - betting app in your face

then you have billboards with Jayjay and co shilling gambling
then you have betting parlor as ubiquitous as 7-11 in obodo oyibo

one every 500 metres

if you make mistake enter the trap, you are not getting out.

the government is not doing enough to properly regulate betting.

when we were growing up the cigarette industrys advertsising power was unbridled. today if you see any cigarette ad it follows with warning.

it is a big problem - but it was originally designed to snag the poor . its reach is growing and snagging the middle class. by the time one or two banking ogas commit major fraud because of gambling debt - regulation will come in by force.

Oh the government has a duty to regulate and carry out oversight of the betting industry. I just don’t feel it is my place as a private citizen to waste pity on anyone caught in that trap. I come across people with terminal diseases and incapacitating illnesses every day. People going through really tough times that they had no control over. Those are the ones I will spend my pity on not anyone who through greed, ignorance, lack of self-control or plain stupidity got himself drowning in gambling debts.

Alcohol ban is under Shariah and religion, In most parts of Nigeria you can drink any amount of alcohol you can buy

Crypto people are still doing till now

Unless we operate Shariah law where we are governed by religious laws. In Moslem law you can't drink, can't gamble and cannot even get loan for interest
