We warned them about Tinubu, they called us haters, to all those who used tribalism to support Tinubu if only your tribal bragging right could reduce the price of garri for you or reduce the price of petrol to 200, I would have said you gained something from tribal support but do you know the very bad part;

Just a reminder Tinubu doesn't give a fvck about you or whatever you go through, he doesn't even need your vote or support in 2027 to get reelected...
What Obi would have done differently.
You lots should stop this nonsense.
None of them is capable to change anything. Tinubu Lagos flourish but Obi Anambra is not compared to Lagos. Nigerians voted Tinubu out of the three for record and facts.
Until the true person will come, I remain my name.

Obi would have done a whole lot different, using Lagos and Anambra as comparison is like giving a driver a Ferrari and another a beetle Volkswagen to do race and expecting the Volkswagen beetle to beat the Ferrari, give Obi the same Lagos to govern then you can compare them, mind you Lagos was former FCT for 77 years before Tinubu became governor,

Abuja has been FCT for about 38 years, it is like comparing FCT and Ekiti state in development, when was Anambra created?

1.Streaming is eating into Multichoice's profits. An Amazon prime and Netflix cost less than 5000 EACH a month for a package that offers you more than what Multichoice can offer

2.The economy is bad, and not just in Nigeria. Multichoice is struggling even in South Africa. In SA, for example, numbers of Premium subscribers are falling.

Modified : yes I am aware of data cost. Problem is people are porting from DStv premium to streaming.
they will lose in a country with live streaming. If I can get Starlink, its the way to go.Im still wondering why people who live in a block of flat ie 6x2 bedroom flat canot order starlink and forget about this DSTV shyte

People are quick to forget that Lagos was once the federal capital of Nigeria.

We don't know what will break this monopolistic Company.. especially the sport channels.

They know we love football and they have exclusive rights for EPL and UCL angry angry

Everyone saying they will buy data and router and calling those using DSTV mumu no talk true...streaming football can NEVER be same as watching on Cable TV... streaming no even near am!

If you wan use better network for Nigeria to stream, the pay is more than DSTV subscriptions...we are talking about Starlink for example.

That is exactly my Thought.
Imagine streaming 1 or 2 Games of 90 Mins with Data Worth 1 Month DSTV Sub.....
Then That is : Penny Wise POUND FOOLISH

I'm open to Viable alternatives.....i wan Learn o

Most people still sub for sports sake you know. How can you have access to premier league matches and champions league when you have a bad internet access in your area?

You guys should stop blaming DStv

Blame whoever or whatever have decided to continuously increase the prices of goods and services and bluntly refused to commensurately hike the average income of citizens.

How e want take work? This is what you get.

Not only DStv, even food, most people cannot remember the last time they drank tea with peak milk!

Lets see the one you initiated otherwise you are the dumbest.
Instead of blaming the policy of your country you are here blaming individual that does not have the power to implement.
Subscription now is by choice, to me other things has to suffer if you really want it.
I subscribed because i love watching football and some matches are played in the night, i can not go to viewing centre in the night to watch for security reasons. There is absolutely no comparison for my safety and comfort to being robbed, kidnapped or injured.
In the nutshell i owed you no explanation but try and channel your grievances to the right place.

I remember when gotv used to be for common man

Dstv used Gotv to fight StarTimes. Now that StarTimes is moribund, Gotv can do anyhow.

Imagine paying half of what DSTv Premium plan subscribers pay (that's excluding an additional fee for extraview) for both my fiber optic internet and fantastic IPTV services every single month and also getting way more value for my money than what the South African company can ever offer. It's pure and undiluted bliss.

These guys (DSTv) are just lucky that broadband internet penetration is still very low in Nigeria. Otherwise, they'd be recording humongous losses year in year out. They should ask cable TV operators in places like the US how they're struggling to remain in business, no thanks to cord cutters like me.

With my internet service catering to my work and full entertainment needs, God forbid I continue to dash DSTv that kind of money on a monthly basis. Life doesn't start and end with DSTv. Simply ask and you'd be shocked that you've been dulling yourself.

Yes streaming is a competition but that is not the reason for their loss, please stop misinforming people. The real reason is the harsh business environment. Naspers which is the multichannel parent company is among Africa's most valuable company, so your reason for streaming doesn't cut it
