Good afternoon mates. Can a two-year visa be issued to a conference attendee after the expiration of his earlier six-month visa? I know that they don't grant more than six months to medical visitor at any time but I am not sure of conference attendees. Please advise asap. |

Good morning I’m applying for spouse visa but have been going to the Uk since 2022 to visit my husband, come to Nigeria and back again I arrive september this year and apply for spouse visa November. My question is this I submitted 50pictures to the solicitor and I didn’t know only 6photos went successfully and he couldn’t ask me if I only got 6 he just upload just the 6 photos now I’m worried if 6photos is enough proof ? |

Born2conquer: If you didn't receive a mail informing you that your application could not be decided within the stipulated time, you will surely get a decision today or tomorrow or, latest, Friday. |

I have four examples. 1. One of them is here on Nairaland. He applied for 6 months and got rejected and he cleaned up his act, re-applied, got it and used it 3 times. He came back to ask if he should go for 10 year Visa and he was discouraged but he went ahead and he got it. 2. A Nigerian friend applied three times and got rejected. He finally applied via employer and was approved. Used the visa twice and then went for five years, approved. 3. Another friend got the 6 month visa and then went for 5 years and was approved. 4. My Brother in law did 6 months, 2 years and then 10 years. All approved. However, with these people I know personally, they had good, recent and frequent travel history to other countries like the USA, amongst others. Establish why you need the long-term visa in your cover letter, ensure you have good and frequent travel history and goodluck! sanyaolurilwan: |

Kai This is really informative, thanks and I really appreciate you taking your time to give numerous examples. I just got my 6months visit visa, I plan to use 2 times and then apply for 5/10years next time, that's why I'm asking, maybe I'll try to use it 3times also and then apply for 10years. Thanks a bunch! oasmart: With current exchange rates you don't need more than 1.5 million as a spending budget in your application to work your trip.😉 But it is your personal financial circumstance that will make or mar your application. Your lavish spending should not be upto 3 times your disposable income |
