I know Mainoo's weaknesses. Giving the ball way too frequently is not one of them.

He can tackle when in position. He is quick running forward (especially with the ball). So far in the seniors, he has shown lack of stamina (which is understandable) and lack of recovery pace (which might be more problematic). There was no real evidence of either in the academy so hopefully it is only a transient issue.

The first time i saw him play as a 15yr old he played RM, so he definitely didn't show that he was slow for a CM in the academy.

Yeah lack of recovery pace na wetin I dey talk about, his tackle is actually good from few I don see and he doesn't shy from getting into them, but being in position to make said tackles na the koko. Hopefully na stamina issue, he's still just 18 after all.

Kambwala has potential which you will most likely see glimpses of today but when he makes mistakes they are often catastrophic. He can play extremely well in a game and still be at fault for 2 goals.

I have not watched him this season sha, so maybe he has cleaned up his game.
