Nairaland was down for a few days and some were celebrating on X, praying it never comes back.
I never knew the hate was this much.
God shame them.

I wonder how y'all are able to live harboring bitterness all the time. Well, if Seun is wise, he should take the message. Sometimes, you learn the truth better via your enemies.

Nah! On the contrary, I don't think NL was down because of bigotry or hate speech.

NL published a huge financial misappropriation fraud that day it went down. I can't remember the particular public office that was fingered in the report but that fraud reported was massive!

When I read the news i thought to myself, "person wet publish this news gett mind o"

I wish I can remember the particular public office involved 🤔

Many of those people have benefited from Nairaland in the past but are wishing it bad and assuming the issue was about Igbo when Seun has not stated what it was about. The toxicity in some obidients ehn.

I'm not sure why the website went down. I'm certain it wasn't about Igbophobia because nothing is being done about that here either. Those who moved on from Nairaland are brave. Me? I can't think of any other source to get widely up-to-date on local and international information at a glance besides Nairaland.

Even when Seun did not mention anything about Igbo. They still cried profusely there. It's a peculiarity

Bros, it is beyond an obidient thing, it is an IGBO thing.

Check it, anything or anyone that is successful and of good repute that is of other ethnic groups (especially if it's of Hausas or Yorubas) gets denigrated and hated on by Igbos.

It's the same reason why they killed the leaders and shinning stars of other tribes during the coup, and spared theirs.

They will call you cow, goat, and other unprintable names for 4 to 8 years, while others are planning, planting and building bridges. When election time reach they'll now expect you to enter inside sun and rain to vote for their son.

If someone speak about wrong doings of bat/APC,you people will turn the person to unpatriotic Nigerian,as if APC mean well for Nigeria. Now someone has pointed out the wrong doings of seun, you've turn it to hate. Okay, why was nairaland taken down if nothing was wrong with the management?

One day,you apc slaves will wake up from this self deceit
