kristien4: First tier include the following, note all of them have also "Alaba levels" (fake types): 1) Jinko 2) Canadian Solar 3) Trina Solar Panels 4) Longi 5) JA Solar 6) Era Solar 7) Yingli Etc Look for the real dealers to avoid buying "label" as they often refer to the fake types. Beware of 'labels" when buying Canadian and Trina Solar panels. Alaba vendors have a particular fixation in faking these two panels. Good luck. 2 Likes |

ojesymsym: Not entirely true. My normal inverter then used to drain my previous battery down to 10.5v |

Dragunz: Buy the Qasa DC 18" standing fan; comes with a remote and has about 6 levels. I doubt it consumes more than 20w even on full blow. I recently used the fan for about 6hours and my battery didn't move from the 12.2v it was on. It is really energy-efficient. It's ceiling fan counterpart is also energy-efficient as well |

You'll be amazed by level of the quantities of fake Jinko panels in Nigeria now and I fear it will surpass the original ones soon as the demand for Jinko panels are increasing daily. mctfopt: |

The lighting strikes will probably end with the inverter as those electronic components will get fired easily before the strike will get to the battery. lovediehatelive: 1 Like |

Can I get solar lights for less than 200k, that can power just Pc, charge phone and probably fan and bulbs |
Re: Solar Energy, A Complement To FTA by mctfopt: 7:35am On Dec 31, 2023 |
Ferdiwar: For real? Didn't know they are into Jinko now. I always get from authorised dealers. |
Re: Solar Energy, A Complement To FTA by Ferdiwar: 8:31am On Dec 31, 2023 |
I was shocked too. I got to know this when I was in the market for panels and reached out to Coscharis Technologies for Jinko panels, when I told the lady that their price for 555w was way higher than what I was offered for the 575w in alaba that was when she asked me to request for the S/N of the panels they offered let her verify if it's the original or fake, well my shock was shocked with the outcome. I ended up getting the Longi as they only had the 555w in stock and I personally verified all the panels from Longi website before leaving with the panels. mctfopt: 1 Like |

Ferdiwar: It's easy to spot fake jinko solar panels. It's one thing to be involved in solar panel, it's another thing to be involved in the business of solar panels. Some solar panels, have their names embedded into it.. this is one major way to tell the difference aside from the stickers. |

I have a serious dilemma.i want to do an upgrade,Im confused between buying a growatt 5kva hybrid inverter or a 120amp growatt charge controller. My cause of confusion is this. This growatt inverter can work without batteries, and secondly even while working with battery, can power the household load directly from the the solar panels during sunlight, while the reamaining power charges the battery. My question is can the external charge controller offset house load while charging batteries at thesame time? Pls i will appreciate a response.. |
Re: Solar Energy, A Complement To FTA by brightk(m): 12:00pm On Dec 31, 2023 |
kristien4: there is always a twist with this so called inverters that can power your household loads directly with solar panels... if you dont have enough pvs to cater for your loads during different weather conditions, it will still draw from your batteries.. by so doing your batteries will suffer the damages in the long run cos de are not receiving enough charge... in summary have enough pvs.... 1 Like |
