Citing health challenges, the former Minister of Humanitarian Affairs, Disaster Management, and Social Development, Sadiya Umar-Farouq has officially written to the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission seeking an extension of the deadline to meet with EFCC interrogators over an ongoing probe into the N37,170,855,753.44 allegedly laundered during her tenure in office, through a contractor, James Okwete.https://punchng.com/exclusive-%E2%82%A637-1bn-fraud-why-i-didnt-honour-efccs-invitation-ex-minister/?utm_medium=Social&utm_source=Facebook&fbclid=IwAR2RTdzMvdkhc50k_JB38oE9E0m0z6RHUtaSi79MO5-3Tv0_FI3yRhrT76k#Echobox=1704371399 Previous Thread: https://www.nairaland.com/7957464/n37.1bn-fraud-buharis-minister-shuns 4 Likes

The spokesperson for the EFCC, Dele Oyewale said Umar had sent a legal representative to the commission and has written to the commission seeking to be given more time to honour the invitation while citing health challenges. Fake health challenges suddenly develop in these criminals when they are asked to come explain how they mis-used funds, but they are very healthy when massively stealing public funds. This format is too old. 145 Likes 11 Shares |

You can only run but you can't hide. Anytime politicians are asked to report to EFCC, they will start feigning illnesses. The amount of money looted during APC 8 years alone is more than what PDP looted in 16 years. 16 Likes 1 Share |
