Yuck! Chimps and the like are our closest cousins on the evolutionary chain, and eating them is just one step away from eating fellow human beings!

Yes, if no then we shouldnt eat any other animal.
The golden rule is 'All animal are equal '

Point of correction sir, the same saying that says 'All animals are equal' has the last part that say "But some animals are more equal than the other. You can't go into wilderness to hunt a lion with a dฤne guns or some random machete as you will hunt down squirrel with the same objects.

Now, back to the topic, no creation of God with flesh is not sweet when well cooked or roasted (including humans) but common แนฃense and human disposition would help you to select the animals to feast on.

DO THEY HAVE TO DISPLAY IT LIKE THAT?..

Displaying like a that is pure mischief. Most people will eat it in a nice pot of soup or stew if cut in pieces and labelled "Bushmeat Soup".

It's a baboon, so what? It's an animal to be eaten..it's not a human being so wetin you dey yarn. If that baboon catch you ehn, e go chop you raw or you think it would pity you?

Relax... No need for the aggression๐Ÿ˜

My take is that not all animals are meant to be eaten, at least you cannot eat a mouse or a housefly, so why don't we draw the line where we should? Animals like monkeys, apart from the fact that they look like humans, often harbour pathogens, Ebola comes to mind...

Anyways, it's a free world and you can eat what you please. โœŒ๐Ÿพ

So, why would you think that of others, if you yourself cannot do it?
Why is it that that was the thought that came to your mind after you saw the post? Says a lot.

Have you ever witnessed such (people eating their neighbours/siblings/children) in your life?

The person you quoted is correct. There have been many recorded instances of cannibalism in history, so yes, some people CAN eat humans, if they should do so is another discussion.

@budaatum,
Someone up there is saying he will only eat the baboon and not his neighbor/children.
What he's saying in essence is - His neighbors/children are too close and familiar with him; but if by chance he came in contact with a strange human, mute and hairy in the bush, He'd never hesitate to kill it for food!

I did not see the someone, but they might be hyperboling like I was. Most of us see neighbour eating as taboo, considering how heavily we are programmed to love our neighbours.

Bayelsa State folks as seen online will find this roasted baboon to be a delicacy. They proudly eat exotic meat from whales (that have washed up the beaches), octopuses, crocodiles, snakes, seals, monkeys, baboons, turtles, etc. It's their prerogative though. I have no active taste buds for these kinds of meat except white meat from chickens or turkeys.
