swagifted: For the popular brands, real capacity is about 700 watt. A real capacity sachet inverter is almost double the price of these types people love to buy |

Hello all. Please I've read as much as I can from the beginning of this thread but due to constant changing system and methods based on trial and error I understand things have changed and things will keep changing. Hence the need to post my question so that I can get best advice that is applicable today given my needs. So my question is: I want to set up an affordable solar system to provide light and charging ports for laptop and phones. I also want to get a solar fan to work with it. Now, what kind of battery, solar panel, inverter, charge controller, solar standing fan, solar lights and charging ports and other gadgets should I get to build my setup? How much should I budget? Please I'd appreciate your inputs. Thank you 1 Like |

swagifted:You don't need to open the box to confirm the specification/stated capacity. Just place about 2000w load on the 3kva inverter while the battery is still charging to see the handling ability/efficiency of the inverter. When the battery is fully charged, place about 500w loads on it and observe if the running time would get to 2 hours 30 minutes. 1 Like |

swagifted:Could you drop the pictures with the sticker and let's see? How much did you buy it? The ones that are built with the lead acid battery are cheaper than the ones that are built with the lithium battery. |

swagifted:3kva inverter with 1.4kwh lfp battery powering 400w loads for 10 minutes We're used to deceitful market strategies in this country. I just hope and pray it would serve you for at least 4 yrs. |
Re: Solar Energy, A Complement To FTA by dacool1(m): 3:23pm On Jan 09 |
isangjohnson: It's obviously not upto 1.4kwh and I'm almost sure it's not lfp. It's most likely made from used lithium ion batteries. For lithium ion Battery, the capacity is about 120amps. Drawing over 40amps from that will make the voltage sag so much that it will trigger LVD. |

Pls hw do i identify original Jinko Solar panel from these two stickers. Make i no go buy fake product, both are priced the same Thanks

Re: Solar Energy, A Complement To FTA by isangjohnson: 6:15pm On Jan 09 |
dacool1:Do you mean lfp battery is more superior than lithium ion battery in terms of load handling, assuming there are the same capacity? Lfp could be discharged to 80% dod. Is lithium ion not having the same dod? |
