Thank you. I have declined already. [uote author=hunee post=127848448]I wouldn't even respond to such questions. We have warned persons severally here not to collect items for third parties when they are traveling including friends and associates. Trust is very scarce these days. And already Nigerians are flagged and known to be vast in drug peddling business in SA. So oladunni , BE careful @Africankel, how are you?[/quote] 1 Like |

hello house, 2016 I was given 3 month multiple entry, I went to SA once spending 10days then the visa expired. 2017 I applied again, this time with my wife and kid, when I went to pick up our passports, my wife and my kid were issue visa but mine was not issue and no refusal letter in the package. Was that supppse to be an error from them or what does that mean “? |

The thread is titled "General South Africa Visa Enquiries" for a reason, it's meant for those who are interested in visiting or staying at South Africa. If anyone feel they have some personal sentiments against it, you have no reason to be here and there is definitely no need to attack the group or it's members. Nairaland has millions of topics and threads which might interest you so please spend your time and energy in those. Nobody needs to spread their viles across groups especially those founded on baseless sentiments. Almost all countries have their threads in the travel section, if you believe one or more are the best, please go to those threads. This group has helped a lot of people to apply, visit, study in and migrate to South Africa and we won't shut it down cos of some unfounded opinions especially ones that were not solicited. Abeg, 2024 is too young to spend time poke-nosing into other people's business, spend your time wisely. @Justwise, we'd appreciate some moderacy abeg. 1 Like |

@AfricanKel… I asked because I just got to know about this forum 2days ago. I am new here. |
Re: General South Africa Visa Enquiries by Africankel(m): 2:24pm On Jan 12 |
sos404: Okay... I would assume it was an error on their part. If your family's visa was approved, the possibility of yours being approved is 99%. Sadly you didn't take any action seven years ago. |
Re: General South Africa Visa Enquiries by sos404: 2:46pm On Jan 12 |
@AfricanKel,wanted to just know what the reason might be, I was thinking maybe because my visa expires 2016 July and I applied again 2016 September. Maybe the months seems to be too close? It’s just funny at that time. |
Re: General South Africa Visa Enquiries by Africankel(m): 5:10pm On Jan 12 |
sos404: That is definitely not an issue. In 2023, I applied for renewal two days after mine expired and it was granted. My current visa expires on January 30, 2024, however I applied today for it be renewed, and I'm certain it will be approved. In your case, I suspect it was approved but wasn't affixed in your passport in error. Although it has been nearly seven years, I'll suggest you write to the High Commission, seeking to know if it was approved or refused and the reasons for refusal if so. Let them know you took no action at the time because you assumed it was refused and had no need to reapply until now. And that this information will aid in you fill the application form truthfully. Another option will be to just apply, and raise these concerns in your introduction letter. |
