See Osimhen. See miss. Such a clear chance yet Osimhen's effort is not even close.

Nobody should blame the midfielders for anything. They've done their job so far, especially Iwobi. There has been an abundance of creativity so far.

We would have been leading with 4 or 5 goals by now if not for too many missed chances, especially from Osimhen and Sanusi.

I fit curse this commentator mentioning we look into the NPFL to solve the creative MF

Is he lying though? If we can’t find the profile of creative midfielder abroad, why not look domestically.

It's funny how he missed that chance and then looked to the lines-man to raise his flag for offside grin

I have never been impressed with Onyeka's display. I don't see what he adds to this eagles squad.

Odunayaw:
He has attempts on goal for his troubles.

He can't even outperform Lookman or halfway. Which attempt. Not one successful dribble. You give him 1v1 and you have more faith that he's not getting through. Naim you dey talk attempt?

That Osimhen miss has sucked the life out this match. The team have resigned to play a draw. You can see it from their faces.

Re: "The Super Eagles Thread: The Road To AFCON 2025 And 2026 World Cup by mrwilliams9(m): 4:50pm On Jan 14
1-1 is a disappointing result, we had a enough chances for this to be 3-1, 4-1. The bigger worry is the injury to Yusuf. He looks key for us moving forward.

There are still 6 pts to play for so getting out of the group isn’t too much of a worry for me…

The Nigerian commentator mentions that a draw should not be cause for panic, but what he doesn't realize is that it trails a long list of poor performances from the team.
