The yam is N1,300 each in my area, that means the 4 will be N5,200..
Last time I was trying to buy one to cook for my family, I was holding N1,000 all of them said is N1,300 for that size I had to change my mind and bought bread.

Foolishness is when you elect a criminal old drug lord as president and resort to praying for him to succeed. There are many foolish people in Nigeria and that's why the country will hardly go forward

Too much money on one item. You should have bought half bags and use the extra to get a few other things. Anyways your preference.

Rice 49k? Is this BUA rice available in Lagos?

** even if it's available their own go cost. Lagos and their wahala**.

That's the situation now. This is a wholesale market that is why the price is like this. Retailers in Sabon Gari market sell it as high as 10,200 per carton

A bag of rice take me and my family for 4-5 months. That's why I always go for a bag. The bag of rice I bought in October 2023 was the one we use for Christmas and New Year. It just finished today. This bag will take us till end of April or May

Woah, bag of rice is now 49k.. it's very cheap.

Back then in 2013, a bag of rice was selling for as costly as 100k.

That 23Tr is one of the top reasons for inflation of food. Too much money chasing few scarce goods.
Money answereth to things that are available and does not poses the power to maintain production cycle.

Let us continue to celebrate mediocrity and bad governance. You will soon start buying that rice for N100K.

The country's policies continues to choke the common man until he's forced to eat shit like the chichidodo bird.

As i japa go US i can only wail as a spectator.

I bought a bag of rice for 60k two days ago. I wonder why BUA isn't distributing their rice across the country, I was impressed with the quality the first and unfortunately the last time we bought it (2015).

Undoubtedly, cost of living is cheaper in the North than in the east, south and even West of Nigeria.
