Later some African pseudo intellectuals will blame the foreigners who came and we willingly sold our resources to them

Tunji Ojo resigned and his company bid for contract from a ministry he didnt have control over
So you think Zenith bank should not get govt patronage because Emefiele was a former director? Or Anambra should not Bank with Fidelity Bank because of Obi, or Zamfara should not bank with FBN

Obi invested govt money into Hero beer a company he is majority owner. The investment is now said to be worth next t Nothing by the current governor

You defended Obi for that egregious act

The bolded clauses are the difference between me and you. One was a contract to benefit the politician. The other an investment to benefit the people.

Let's also assume that you didn't take note of the fact the those contracts were inflated or fictitious. Honourable minister off your mic 🎤

Mr man shut it. I am telling you what Google dropped as the most searched teams on their platform you are here writing nonsense.

https://trends.google.com/trends/yis/2023/GLOBAL/

Hapless nitwit! Google Trends and Google Search, though similar, are not the same thing.

Even Google states this on its many websites and sub-websites.

https://www.google.com/url?q=https://support.google.com/webmasters/thread/153289316/google-trends-shows-different-results-than-google-search-console-for-the-same-keyword

https://support.google.com/trends/answer/4365533?hl=en

https://www.quora.com/What-is-the-difference-between-Google-Trends-and-Google-search

For example, the most trending words or phrases on Twitter aren't the most searched words. It just means people are tweeting about it more, but not searching the words.

Trends words or phrases which dominate talking points even for short periods at intervals.

"Ibadan gas explosion" would be the most trending this week in Nigeria likely because, as news headlines and persons are referring to it at this instant in post, it'd trend; but it'd patter out. And they aren't searching it out. Cached postings on social media like Twitter and Facebook would be factored into Trends, but it doesn't translate to searches.

On the whole a phrase like "JAMB 2024" might turn out to be the most searched.

Sit down! Learn, you 12-point I.Qed nutcase.

When you had global economic meltdown like what we experienced in 2019/2020( Covid 19), you just had to print money. Bank of England printed money too during that time.

Note: I am not defending printing of money because the wealth of a nation is measured by production and not what the country has in her account. I think that's the reason Economists measure the wealth of a country using GDP.

Thank you.
The question is did buhari give us 50 billion dollars worth of infrastructure?

If the reason for relocating FAAN HQ back to lagos is because Lagos airport has the most operation.
Then why not move NNPC HQ to Akwa Ibom or Delta or even Rivers. Seeing that the bulk of operations is in the SS region.
Is that not how it's supposed to be. NNPC is supposed to be in the south south most preferably Delta state.

How is Tunji Ojo benefitting from the masses?

What was the price impact of Anambras purchases on the share price and when did Obi sell his personal shares?

Price moves with volume. The price impact of Anambras investment will tell the story whether it was fraudulent or not

Very different scenarios

Tunji Ojo and his wife resigned from the company

The company sought contract from a ministry Tunji was not directly overseeing

To make this Emefiele similar to Ojo, will be if Emefiele and his wife resigned as directors and they are bidding for contract NOT under CBN but from Ministry of Justice or Defence

But Tunji Ojo is still a shareholder in the company and most likely holds the majority shares in the said company. Resigning as director doesn't mean he will not benefit from whatever profit the company makes executing the said contract which he definitely used his position to influence its award.

Emefiele too can claim he does not own the company that carried the renovation of CBN governor's lodge na.

Did the company bid under the ministry Tunji Ojo was overseeing?

Emefiele as CBN governor gave a CBN contract to a company where he and his wife were directors, Did Tunji give the contract under his ministry?

The report did not say Emefiele was a director, It says his wife and inlaw are directors and shareholders.

Is it until the company bid under the ministry Tunji Ojo is supervising before it becomes corruption?

The same Tunji Ojo got contract awarded to the same company by NDDC while he was heading the HOA committee on Niger Delta na. No be today that man don dey chop our yam o.

Anyways, below is what Section 19 of the Corrupt Practices and Other Related Offences Act 2000:

OFFENCE OF USING OFFICE OR POSITION FOR GRATIFICATION.
Any public officer who uses his office or position to gratify or confer any corrupt or unfair advantage upon himself or any relation or associate of the public officer or any other public officer shall be guilty of an offence and shall on conviction be liable to imprisonment for five (5) years without option of fine.

Tunji ojo used his position as a public officer(Minister) to get another public officer (Betta Edu) award a contract to a company he is most likely the majority shareholder. The law didn't say it must be a ministry u control .

How is that an offence by Tunji Ojo? Does this mean Betta is a dummy and Tunji has her remote control to make her grant the contract?

The law is below
OFFENCE OF USING OFFICE OR POSITION FOR GRATIFICATION.
Any public officer who uses his office or position to gratify or confer any corrupt or unfair advantage upon himself or any relation or associate of the public officer or any other public officer shall be guilty of an offence and shall on conviction be liable to imprisonment for five (5) years without option of fine.
The contract was not in Tunjis purview to grant, it was under the exclusive control of Betta. So how did it become Tunjis offence

Betta Edu awarded the contract to a person she is not related to
Emefiele awarded the contract to a person he is related to

Tunji does not award the contract, The company submitted a bid and someone else who controls the control the ministry awarded to the company

There has been a rumor going around for years that Obiano is a drunkard, Spy360 is saying Obiano chopped (consumed) the investment

Given Obianos rumored love for alcohol, Maybe Spy is inferring that crates of beer that Obi bought for the state, Obiano drank it all

Whatever Obi did was handed over to the incoming government. That government should be held responsible thereafter. What's important and should be commended is that Obi had good intentions because if it worked the state would enjoy the benefits. And it worked. He didn't go away with the investment he handed it over to the next government.
