InfoWay: Did you include your marriage certificate when you raised a webform? You should have received an acknowledgment, and asked to send in your passport and COPR for cancellation. Thereafter, you will also receive an ADR to submit spousal addition kit, schedule A, BIL, medicals, updated POF, police clearance, visa fees, etc. |

BEYEI:Good day. You may check YouTube for materials... Careeraxis, Ali Rastegari, Hzad Education and others I can't remember right now. There are also two practice tests on the CELPIP site. ETA: How much did you end up paying for the exam and how? Thank you... 1 Like 1 Share |

Hi All, Please I need to ask about the category based draw for healthcare. I have a sister that studied biological science at the bachelor’s level but her school indicated on her certificate in bracket, Zoology option, she has been working as a medical laboratory assistant since she finished school. Can she apply under the category based draw for healthcare as her job is eligible. She said that she only did a course in zoology in her final year and that was the reason why the school said that. Will this be an issue as IRCC May be expecting that her Bachelor’s degree matches exactly with her work experience. Thanks |

Hello, thank you for your response Yes, I uploaded a copy of my marriage certificate and I got a mail stating that it was successfully added to my file, but that was it. It was after I raised another webform that I was told to contact the Accra V.O. I still haven't gotten instructions on sending in the passport for cancellation and reissue nor gotten a request for ADR of the other documents. phabulous88: |

good morning guys how is your day going? guys i want to ask a question 1) if my employer pays me by cash, what is the best way to avoid scrutiny if the canadian authority ask to proof that cash payment? also have they been cases where people who claimed to recieve salary by cash have been denied pr? 2) when given ita, what is the longest it can take before you finally collect pr? 3) if someone gets pr, how easy is it to bring in your wife later on, would she still need to do ielts and enter pool, or you can just bring her in automatically. 1 Like |

InfoWay: Okay. You’ll just have to wait and keep sending reminders, cos you’re more or less starting the whole process again. And it could take between 3 months to whenever… I read about a guy who added his wife post COPR and it took 2 months to get new PPR . I read about another guy whose own took 19 months. Hopefully, everything will be done quick so you don’t have to redo medicals or your passport. And please make sure your POF is updated, cos with the current exchange rate… |
Re: Canadian Express Entry/Federal Skilled Worker Program - Connect Here Part 11 by phabulous88(m): 5:27pm On Jan 19 |
Ajibolaoi: eniola1010: 1. You’ll need a cash salary certificate. See link below: https://www.nairaland.com/5031893/canadian-express-entry-federal-skilled/395#77873960 But you need to be careful. If I’m a VO and your work reference letter shows that you work in the financial services sector or earn more than 500k monthly, and still paid in cash?! It doesn’t add up. 2. IRCC’s timeline for processing applications from ITA is 6 months. But then each application is different. Ours took 10 weeks, some are still waiting after 6 months, and others after 12 months. 3. If you’re married, you have to declare that when you are creating your profile, even if your spouse is non-accompanying. Note that your POF must still cover for your spouse, whether she’s coming with you or not. If you’re married, don’t make the mistake of claiming single, so that you can add her after COPR and before landing. Your marriage certificate has a date, and if they match it against the date you created a profile… And then when you’re successful and you land as a PR, you can then sponsor her to join. You will need to apply to be a Sponsor, and then your wife will apply to be a PR. These are separate applications. And the IELTS is not required for spousal visa, but be prepared to stay away from each other for a very long time, cos the process can take up to 1 year, or even more. 1 Like 1 Share |

Re: Canadian Express Entry/Federal Skilled Worker Program - Connect Here Part 11 by aurorae1: 5:45pm On Jan 19 |
BEYEI: Yes it is on the site, but there are additional fees (taxes) and due to the conversion rate, it's higher(don't know the calculation behind this). I saw someone who ended up paying 104k as at December. Wanted to know if it has increased or reduced. |

Re: Canadian Express Entry/Federal Skilled Worker Program - Connect Here Part 11 by phabulous88(m): 1:17am On Jan 20 |
penitential: So if I said yes, they accept IELTS Academic you will go with me? Oga, if you’re asking this question, then I don’t think you are ready to immigrate to Canada. I just copied the exact question you posted and pasted on Google, and I found the answer. Just 2 clicks. You guys should stop asking these type of questions, and do simple research by yourself. 13 Likes |

Thank you for providing such comprehensive information on the Canadian immigration process, especially focusing on Express Entry and the Federal Skilled Worker Program. It's immensely helpful to have all these resources compiled in one place. I'm particularly interested in understanding the assessment process for the Federal Skilled Worker application. Could you share more insights or experiences related to the evaluation criteria or any recent changes in the process? https://www.abhinav.com/canada-immigration/canada-federal-skilled-workers-program-petition-process.aspx |

Hello, I'm a law graduate with 2.1 and awaiting law school. Please what's the best way to migrate to Canada? |
Re: Canadian Express Entry/Federal Skilled Worker Program - Connect Here Part 11 by penitential(m): 2:40pm On Jan 20 |
Bro, you can’t conclude just like that. There’s a reason why I asked. Requirements differ per country. Australia takes academic for immigration purpose. 79733139: |

You guys should jus be calm and be courteous. For your information, go and check my posts in this thread in the last 7 years (Canada study visa thread) I’ve been contributing without insulting. And you saying I’m not ready to migrate, for your information, I’m not even in Nigeria, I’m in Aussie atm. The fact that I ask a question doesn’t mean I don’t know what I’m doing. phabulous88: 1 Like |

Good evening everyone, Please I am about to restart my Canadian journey and I have couple of questions. Let me just delve right into it. I am a Software developer with more than 3 years of experience I am aged 31 going to 32 on 1st of April My qualification is HND I am currently running my HND conversion which I will be rounding up end of this year. I have evaluated my HND with WES sometimes in the past(2022) and WES evaluated it to be 3 years diploma and a year Post graduate. Here is my real question Does it mean I am having 2 Two certs, meaning "my level of education" will be Two or more certificates, diplomas or degrees. One must be for a program of three or more years? Thanks all, please I await your reply and advise soon. 1 Like |

aurorae1: Ok, if it is higher, then I will just go for IELTS because they will just be about the same price. And I will prefer IELTS because I am familiar with it, but I heard CELPIP is easier though. |
Re: Canadian Express Entry/Federal Skilled Worker Program - Connect Here Part 11 by klexycole(m): 8:24pm On Jan 20 |
BEYEIs: That's correct. If you evaluated both your ND and HND with WES, then yes, you qualify for Two or More Certificates. 1 Like |

mannasseh: Express entry or studies. Since you studied law and are yet to serve, I’m assuming you have maybe 1 year of experience. If you’re less than 30 years and you max IELTS (LRWS / 8.5,8,7.5,7.5), your maximum score will be 456. If you have 3 years experience, max IELTS and still under 30, your score jumps to 481. However, if you dedicate this year to learning French and you score a B2, your score jumps to 518, which is a good score but still lower than the recent general draws. However, you qualify for the French draw. The last general draw was 546 while the last French draw was 470. Alternatively, you can try the study route. It doesn’t have to be an MSc or LLM. With a 2 years diploma from a Designated Learning Institution (DLI), you get a 3 years post graduate work permit. But note that going via the study route is way more expensive, sometimes more than 3 times what you would have spent for express entry, and it still does not guarantee you permanent residency. 5 Likes 3 Shares |
