izzou: I can't say you have not given some food for thought, but it is your elected leaders you should be putting feet down aggressively for. They are the ones who are legally responsible for addressing those problems and who have the power and resources to effect change. |

izzou: Most Northerners take Islam as their way of life. It influences them personally, socially, politically. So you can't separate religion from anything they do. You can be right to say the middle belt crisis is tribal, fight over land or resources. But we shouldn't forget that it is still motivated by their religious beliefs. They will try to downplay the influence of religion in the on going crisis by claiming it's just fight over resources or land. If you look at it from the view point that it is tribal, you would believe them. If you look at it from the view point that is fight over resources, you would believe them too. But we shouldn't be ignorant and downplay the role of religion in the crisis. That's why it is important church leaders should be held accountable in the same capacity as our political leaders. They need to voice out and call a spade a spade. There is an on going genocide against Christians in the middle belt. 2 Likes |

OasisX: When you play creek politics, especially in Bayelsa, as long as you have the backing of the creek boys and warlords, you don't have to prove anything to the electorate. Bayelsa has the most advantages due to its small population and relatively large state income through oil proceeds and blue economy, but it seems doomed since the days of Alamesiagha. 5 Likes |

BlueRayDick: CAN talked? CAN that was dragged for days before they finally joined the people for protest? CAN president in Kaduna that is so scared of saying the actual truth that he will most times come on TV and be politically correct in the name of peace. That CAN? |

Gabzy1: The middle-belt people have consistently said its not about any resources. It's proper displacement and religious intolerance. Guy I know a friend who worked in a radio station in KD in 2017 as a corp member. These guys were allowed to report attacks 1 hour after it had started as something that was just starting. Where this person been live for 2017, the place is now under new management because even landlord had to run from his own house😁 1 Like |

liveLongNprospa: Pix 1 & 2 :Deborah was murdered May 12th here’s a national newspaper on the 13th reporting CAN’a reaction. Where did u get ur “ CAN was dragged for days” gist from ? Pix 3 & 4: On the 16th May, CAN called for a peaceful protest to hold on the 22nd of May . Except u expect CAN to also act like the mob that killed Deborah by instigating complete breakdown of law and order; I really don’t know what more u think CAN should have done otherwise . The truth is Buhari’s administration was a failure on all fronts . You know it, I know it and everybody knows it as well.

DissTroy: .....Bayelsa seriously need a real Leader. It has potential to become one of most developed states in Nigeria. Competing with Lagos, Rivers and Akwa-Ibom in term of infrastructural developments. Give Bayelsa to Wike, Aregbe or Umahi and see giant strides everywhere. |

Gabzy1: The church leaders are on YouTube doing prayers and asking viewers to subscribe and share links. I just don't know why these men will always keep quiet Adeboye, Oyedepo and Cardinal Arinze are enough to raise enough dust to the religious intolerance, but they won't. Shettima that is angry that Sharia is not upheld, is the same person we should be holding accountable for the very same thing he supports. Very laughable 3 Likes |

izzou: Oyedepo had his church in Kaduna for years , He's had his own share of attacks from those fundamentalists. In 2020 they even attempted to bomb his church https://www.lindaikejisblog.com/2020/2/bishop-oyedepo-rains-curses-on-miyetti-allah-boko-haram-others-after-failed-attempt-to-bomb-his-church-in-kaduna.html In fact, earlier in 2017 he was forced to debunk a video in which he was seen obviously venting at how security forces look the other way while Christains get killed in the religious crisis in the north. PROVOCATIVE REMARKS ON THE SOUTHERN KADUNA & FULANI KILLINGS: I will continue to say it that it is the government's job to ensure security of lives and properties through security agents and they have continued to fail at this. For someone Like Oyedepo who is known to always say his mind to recant on his own video, you must know water don pass garri. Small time now DSS will start inviting him daily. |

BlueRayDick: Was there a part where i said it was the Pastor's job to secure lives? The Government is not an external being. It ia a human like you that is the government; and he is either a Muslim or Christian. If he is a Muslim, he is either an extremist or not. Very simple. If you are not respected, you demand it. The Muslims have shown us time and time again, but Christians will never understand that. Shebi CAN president said the Military is aiding Muslims to kill Christians. Let's for a moment assume it is true So is this the "government" that is supposed to secure lives of Christians in Mangu? Tomorrow they will kill another Christian, and we will Ctrl + C the same comment of government should be responsible, as if it works. 3 Likes 1 Share |

izzou: All I'm saying is the CAN and other Christian leaders have been talking about/reacting to these issues like u expected them to do. The government that is supposed to do something about it are the ones that have failed to do so. Except we expect the CAN and those pastors/bishops to resort to self-help like arming Christians with weapons to defend themselves when push comes to shove. And at that point; it will definitely be full blown anarchy. |

We have finished an election cycle, with Tinuke incharge of everything and yet we still don't have any criminal charge on Peter Obi yet. The old man that said Obi ate anambra money by using the words of Obiano has suddenly stopped talking about that same obiano now that he has been arraigned. We have gone from election to proBAT supporters who said we should speak positive about the country and yet everything has gotten worse. CARDI B ensured the naira lost 2 times its value since he was appointed into CBN. Tinuke and Shettima have sat idly while over 1 thousand people died in the space of 7 months. I don't even want to talk about the state of the economy. Supporters of apc and bat barely come here again but are seeing even more shege like us😁. Some are scared and have faced other sporting activities. Don't worry, this is barely 8 months. We have 3yrs to go. Well 2yrs more like because the 4th year will be for election preparations😁. Till then We go stand on mandate ooo 8 Likes 2 Shares |
