Your civilization did not prevent Wike from brazenly rigging the last election, hand picking your governor for you, shutting down the state assembly, desecrating the constitution and breaking the budget laws etc.

If na Edo, I for know.

Unless something massive changes. Fubara should just plan for 4yrs chop his own and leave and not bother to collect form for next election cos na there people go dey wind am to spend more money and make more enemies(That is if election should hold next month)

That said anything can change in the next 2yrs, any of the actors can die or realign

He is distracted from consolidating his position and 4 years goes by pretty fast. If by the end of his 2nd year, he hasn't made a lot of ground then "Sope O TI LAW".

If we are addressing this fairly, most state governors (including those in Wike's set) are guilty of numbers 1 and 2, including where you hail from..

Numbers 3 and 4 only happened twice 10 years apart, under Amaechi and Fubara.

Most of you find Rivers an easy punching bag even when you shy away from analysing your state sociopolitics. Wasn't someone opposing the interrogation of Obiano on this thread?

I can't recall you analysing your (resident) state sociopolitics and calling out anomalies. Only those who do have the moral ground to criticize Rivers State.

I criticize mine regularly when its leaders err.. Where's evidence you criticize yours? No? You want to protect the reputation of yours while maligning Rivers State.

I don't know if it was on this thread or somewhere I read a quote that resonates with this issue that " In Nigeria, we deliberately make corruption look like incompetency" .... or something like that sha.

I mean anybody who has at least SSCE can piece one or two together that the ideal thing is for the police to arrest this man, take him into custody, use him to lure his team members out and have all of them arrested before they make this kind of announcement. Now they messed that chance up by arresting him only and telling the whole world thereby leaving his lieutenants to relocate from their current location and continue with their business elsewhere.
Wasn't it one of pastor Sulleimans attackers that was caught and next thing, police shot him, hence killing every chances of nabbing his cohorts.

It's pure corruption bro. The plan isn't to catch all of them and stop the crime. There is something hidden underneath these seemingly incompetent acts of our uniform men. Some persons are being protected.

For the same Edo,

Oshiomole handpicked Obaseki, Obaseki is about to handpick Ighodalo
For Edo they shut down State Assembly
For the same Edo dem break all type of laws in the Oshiomole vs Obaseki fight

Mention your state and I will give the exact same scenario in the last 10yrs of handpicking governors and brazen rigging

Only 4 state governments regularly get analysed here, where for good, bad, or illustrations:

1. Lagos;
2. Rivers;
3. Akwa Ibom, and;
4. Oyo.

Barely ever seen others put on the spotlight. Yet we have people resident in or from other states join in maligning the aforelisted, the first two getting the bulk of the criticisms.

What happened to the other 34 states? Its residents/indigenes are active on this thread.

Reeks of devious hypocrisy.

I spend 300 for my 365 days in Lagos, so yes, i have earned the rights to analyse it as i please.

Itsrm spends bulk of his year in Rivers, and also anaylses Rivers. I have not seen him talk about Ogun

We are not in any union where we decide what to talk about. It is an open forum.

Talk about Akwa Ibom if you want. It is very okay. Nobody owes you an explanation for where they want to scrutinise.

More states have been discussed on this thread than the 4 you have highlighted. Imo State for instance, especially during killings, military interventions, sit at homes and IPOB issues have been discussed extensively on this thread. Infact, we spent days debating if to declare a state of emergency and many were involved in that debate.

Hope Uzodinma's first election and 2nd election were thoroughly debated on this thread. I have also engaged different people on issues bothering other states on this thread. While the frequency may not match Lagos/ Rivers, more than the 4 states have been discussed on this thread.

And, yes, it's deviousness. Rich of you to assume I spend most of my days in Akwa Ibom but I criticize it.

The location the Gbola guy assumed when he went on a tirade last March from Facebook screenshots hasn't been changed in more than a decade, nor have I updated my location since then.

Analyse other states too. Whether you are resident in or from there. That's the message.

You lots are the moral police who criticize Rivers but never soundboard same about yours.

You are the same ones who complain about selective Inquisition of the opposition.

Message from who?

This is our beer parlour where everything and anything goes. You cannot just wake up and draw what anybody should talk about

While we are analysing Nigeria, someone is posting about Ifa. He is right to do that

While we are analysing religious intolerance, someone is posting job vacancies. He is also right.

Don't come and bully anybody on what state to talk about.

If they want to talk about Rivers for the rest of their lives, they are free to do so. It is not hypocritic.

Dude, shush it!

Nobody mentioned your moniker. I didn't. You know you are guilty of same. You've joined in to criticize ongoings in other states where you DON'T reside on this thread, but somehow, Anambra where you hail from gets exempted from your criticisms.

You want to personify it so there it is - I have taken equal measure.
