Sin does not offend God. God knows that Man cannot live or exist without committing sin.
  Man sins against GOD at almost every 60 seconds interval of his existence. The ones who are worse sin at every 20 or 30 seconds interval of existence.
  The ones who are above average still succumb to sin at least every 90 or 120 seconds.

GOD is merciful and slow to anger.

If God is not merciful and tolerant of our sins, we would all be dead by now. God would have slaughtered Adam and Eve instantly without asking too much questions after they both ate the forbidden fruit.
  The fact that God didn't do that, rather God killed a Bear and covered them with it's skin, is a sign that your being a sinful being or creature doesn't offend GOD.

Here are the 3 things that actually offends or gets GOD angry:

1. Pride
2. Wicked Imaginations
3. Injustice


Let's talk about them one by one

1. PRIDE:
Pride is displeasing to GOD because it's the nature and seed of evil itself. Pride is defined as trying to do better than GOD.
It's like telling GOD, "hey God, I don't think you know what you're doing, let me get this done on your behalf".
Proverbs 16:18-19
It's the reason why GOD threw Satan out of heaven.
Read Ezekiel 28:11-19 , Luke 10;18 and Isaiah 14:12-17

Pride is the seed that births every other kind of sin, that's why it pisses God off real good.
God sees the end from the beginning and it is what he wills to happen to humankind that happens. This is based on the choices and decisions of men.
Pride gets under God's skin, because pride is the egg of the cockatrice that hatches to bring venomous issues to fore.

*Pride is the cause of unrepentance,
*Pride is the cause of wickedness,
*Pride is the cause of more sin,
*Pride is the cause of rebellion against God.

Pride is the multiplier of sin, a person who steals for example can end up committing another sin while stealing due to pride.

After knocking up Uriah's wife, King David went ahead to kill Uriah because he was too proud to swallow the humiliation the exposure of his sin would bring him.

God didn't punish David for sleeping with Uriah's wife and getting her pregnant. God punished him for killing Uriah with the aim of hiding his sin.
Trying to hide or cover one's sin is an act of pride. And some folks commit worse sins while trying to cover up a sin with a smaller gravity although in the eyes of God, all sins are the same.

2. WICKED IMAGINATIONS:
When GOD destroyed the world with the great flood, he did so because man's imaginations were always wicked.


Genesis 6:5-7 (KJV)
5 And GOD saw that the wickedness of man was great in the earth, and that every imagination of the thoughts of his heart was only evil continually.
6 And it repented the LORD that he had made man on the earth, and it grieved him at his heart.
7 And the LORD said, I will destroy man whom I have created from the face of the earth; both man, and beast, and the creeping thing, and the fowls of the air; for it repenteth me that I have made them. "

Let's zoom in on the 2nd part or b part of verse 5 of Genesis chapter 6, it reads:

"Every imagination of the thoughts of the hearts of the men that were existing on earth as at that time were continually and constantly evil"

This means unlike what I stated above earlier, in 60 seconds, every single 1 second, and every single milliseconds and nanoseconds in every 1 second during the days of Noah, Man's thoughts, imagination and inner meditation were all wicked.
They were all against GOD. All Men in existence were telling GOD in their hearts; GOD you don't know what you're doing, let's be God in your place, or let's be GOD on your behalf.

Do you know why wicked imaginations piss God off?
In the realm of imagination Man has the maximised ability to create events on earth.
When man's imaginations are good, he creates good events that brings good to his fellow men and brings glory and praises to God.
When Man's imaginations are wicked or evil, he creates wicked and evil events that brings glory to Satan.
Anything that brings glory to Satan displeases GOD.

AND any being or creature that constantly brings displeasure to GOD will soon be destroyed by God if he/she/it does not repent.

Good imaginations please God, while wicked imaginations displease God and creatures who constantly displease GOD will be judged and destroyed by GOD.

SO Always say "Good Thinking, Good Product" until your mind is structured to only produce good imaginations.

3. INJUSTICE:
GOD hates injustice.
Things that are unjust such as refusing to pay your workers their wages/salaries when due, using resources meant for building the community healthcare centre to buy cars, private jets and other things to impress folks whom you don't need to really impress and denying justice to the poor or to the oppressed ones in the society.
All these things displease GOD.
Ahab and Jezebel's idol worship displeased God but God didn't move to destroy them. He kept sending the Prophet Elijah to bring them back to repentance, on and on and on until they both carried out an act of injustice that sorely displeased GOD.
They murdered Naboth and took his vineyard.
The murder of Naboth and the unjust takeover of his vineyard caused God to execute swift retribution against Ahab and his wife Jezebel.
King David's murder of Uriah was an act of injustice and God judged him for that. Each time anyone acts unjustly GOD executes a full weighty dose of judgement upon him/her.
It's here and there and everywhere in the scriptures.
Injustice of any kind or magnitude offends GOD and brings his wrath crashing down upon the wicked like a large stone landing from the sky on a building.
But God rewards every act of justice, good imaginations and humility with blessings. Good measures shaken together, pressed down and running over shall GOD give unto the just and happy shall you be when God blesses you immensely!

Isaiah 59:2 says "But your iniquities have separated you from your God; And your sins have hidden His face from you, so that He will not hear". That shows the level of abhorrence God has for sin.

Romans 6:23 says the wages of sin is death. It shows you how heavy the punishment for sin is from God.

When you offend someone, you make the person annoyed or upset about you. From these Bible verses and even the theme throughout the Bible, does it appear like God is happy about sin or even condones sin? Where did you learn God is not offended by sin?

Sin in its simplest definition is disobedience to God. How then can someone say God is not displeased with sin? Which Bible is he or she reading? Pride, wickedness and injustice are only types of sins. And mind you all sin is displeasing to God.

Most of the so called Pastors mouthing these heresies are "empty barrels" who have never grown under any sound theological tutelage or training and think the word of God is all about rhetorics and word play.

Beware who you follow if you cannot read your Bible, lest it becomes a case of the blind leading the blind to eternal damnation.

When you read Genesis 8:21-22
God himself said
"I shall no longer curse the ground for man's sin"

If you break that down it means "I shall no longer be offended by Man's sinful nature or it technically means I shall no longer allow man's sinful nature offend me"

But

I shall install an app on earth, or a mechanism that will bring consequences to man, so that if he/she decides to sin recklessly, he or she will collect big time!
You understand!

GOD also said "Man is sinful from his youth"
This means man starts manifesting his rebellion against God when he matures in his knowledge of good and evil.
This is why 18 years is the official age of adulthood.
When Man is held responsible for his actions, good or evil!

Sin is man's default/factory settings, because all men born of women (except Jesus) was conceived in sin.
