Woaa look at it... I suspected this. For those of you who dont know, this is a nephew of mine; a shallow-minded asante midget learnt English last year, hence his difficulty trying to piece together basic english words to form a sentence. He has been speaking his twi since birth in his village with no contact with real morally upright humans. I knew this will be his only insults- "gyimi, kwasiampaini and tani", that's just about all the ammo he has.

He writes like a demented baboon who just found an open dictionary in a sewage dump.

Lil boy... I am the last person you will want to engage in an insult match, trust me...

Finally my nephew has decided to make his mom proud by insulting me in his class 5 level English. That's fucking cute. I love that. He is gradually learning.

But my son, first of all it's not ashanti; it is asante.

Unfortunately your twi doesn't cross Togo. So when next you type know that this is an international platform and type in an international language. Thank you.

Again, in your dwarf brain you think you have insulted me by using the word "tani". No I don't see it as an insult. You can say it a thousand times and I won't mind.
So far as you and your chiefs are all products of that strong genetically superior semen of the northern warriors or "ntafo" as you said then I am ok. Neither you nor your asantehene's great grandmothers could resist the strength and sweetness of a northerner's penis. They were warriors both in bed and on battlefield.

Our (tafor) northern warriors- with their thick rod, bleeped the hell out of your great great grandmothers so they can produce strong, tall and healthy children that actually look like human being. I am never disturbed. Find another insult... this one is not working. Kanbonga

Preko ba... are those countries your standard now. Your country had a development plan, when all these other countries when still under colonization.

You had a well known functioning film and arts school and movie industry, when others were going through a civil war.

You had very well trained scientists, engineers, technicians, civil servants, public administrators and legal luminaries doing wonders all over the world, something others could only dream of then.

You had a very capable millitary, with secret agency similar to the mossad of israel or cia of US, others could only dream of rag tag poorly trained geurilla fighters.

You were at par with Singapore and South Korea, even Malaysia, others were just getting by. I can go on and on.... stop making excuses for your incompetent leaders...

So anyone who criticises Ghana is a nigerian or an enemy. I am a full blooded Ghanaian from the North East if you care to know. I have nothing to prove to you. I was just stating facts my guy. You are not any more Ghanaian than I am. Its people like you who praise and glorify your leaders for their incompetence and gross ineptitude.

Bawumia is from my home region but I won't glorify him simply because of that. When you go to obuasi dont you feel like weeping for your country? How many dollar millionaires has Obuasi (not even Ghana ) produced from gold alone, what about bauxite? That unaccounted 3 billion dollar gold money that secretely ends up in dubai and other places yearly, do you know what it can do for obuasi alone?

You sit there and be defending your leaders online, we will all face the heat when the time comes.

Just so you know, I am a Mamprusi, but I bet you cant speak and write twi better than I can, so dont even try insulting me in twi. Ok

Say no more bro.

And who told you the BRT system in Ghana is not a successful one? You guys are quick to criticized every venture in your own country and glorify your neighbor as if everything is eldorado there. Juxtaposing lagos and Accra , Accra will passed as a small london , and I mean it and not because of patriotism

Just take a look at Nigeria with his over 200 million people, she still suffers from lack of electricity, most of his towns and cities do not have electricity for weeks or months on end.

I have been to ayangba in kogi state ( almost ending to benue state , the road and the bridges are eye sore ( this is a town that host a university) imagine, Most of her villages do not have any electricity at all ( something that is almost impossible in Ghana) no matter how remote the village might be in Ghana , there is presence of light, even in the far away North like bawku.

in many of their homes , there is no pipeborne water supply unless you pump your own reservoir of water( it is either well water or borehole) Do you know how many Ghanaian rely on govt water supply daily?.

In ayangba ( kogi state ) for instance, it is either you buy water in Jerry cans from privately owned water pumps or this "meruwa "guys ( kayayo in Ghana) visit the inner cities , too many roads are unsurfaced and potholed can easily be accessed.

If you are looking at a planned city in Ghana , why can't you talk about Akosombo , some part of TEMA and winneba( this City were planned even before Abuja) GHANA does not actually need a new capital, what we need is a decentralized system .

Every major city should have a presence of govt just like south africa with about three to four capital cities .Some part of Accra are even planned ( cantonment , ridge, dzworlu, Airport residence are all planned ) and some part of lagos are even far worse than medina or ashaiman, if that is what you are missing .you don't recognized gold until it is replaced with stone .

And if you don't believe in Accra progress (look back at Accra 10 years ago and compare it to what it is now . And again , we can make a just comparison between Accra and the city you mentioned up there if you still doubt Accra progress.

The points you're raising are exactly reasons why Accra, Ghana should be doing wayyyyy better than we're currently doing. You don't agree? Because the ADVANTAGES we enjoy as a country are ENORMOUS.

There's no BRT system in Ghana. We couldn't implement it. It requires creating dedicated roads on both sides of existing roads for ONLY BRT buses to ply to reduce traffic etc. we couldn't do it. We did trotro with the BRT buses, made losses because they're big and stop too often so people reverted to using the old smaller faster trotros and most of the BRT buses we imported are rotting away

I can raise several points but it'd only prolong my comment. Sometimes I say give Ghana to even Nigerians and see how they'd turn it around. If we were a serious country we should be exporting electricity to Nigeria by now.

That you and a lot of Ghanaians are 'content' with our mediocre performance is why we're where we are, when we can EASILY achieve more and become the eldorado we wish to be.

Ivory coast suffered 2 civil wars, 2000 plus people died etc BUT they still held on to their number 1 cocoa producer tag. If it were us?... 'small' bawku conflict we can't solve, now the factions have resorted to shooting innocent passengers in bawku bound buses. imagine we had a boko haram? I could go on and on. There's a lot of nothingness/bareness/lack of leadership in our spaces, so don't act as if we're making anuly significant progress. With the ADVANTAGES we enjoy as a country, we should be doing wayyyy better.

Go and see cocoa Produce Buying Company PBC, it's bankrupt and it's assets are being seized. Aden? We can't manage anything?

And this 'mediocre' mindset reflects in even our black stars. See how other countries are 'killing' themselves to do exploits for their countries .But black stars would be lethargic, play as if there's nothing at stake etc. we'd be a goal up or down, Richard ofori would be so slow to start the game, wo dwene ho a wontease

Etc etc. 'poorer' Senegal, go and look at the wonderful things they're doing. Doing BRT, running ELECTRIC train, building a new city etc. Whoever is running their space is visionary, and you can see it in their doings.

Etc etc

Tell them... the days of suffering, while we put up a smiling face as if nothing is wrong is long gone. If they tell you the rot at GFA, cocobod, tor etc you will think saaa you will not understand. We dont have a brt system, no need pretending. The metro mass transit we run doesn't even have a terminal. Buses are bought, they work for few year, they break down due to lack of maintenance, we leave them to rot and buy a new one and repeat the cycle.

My friend in the fire service basketball team went to togo, to play a match and he was amazed by the basketball facilities there. That Togo oo, just here noor. Look if we dont wake up and demand accountability from these leaders we wont get anywhere. I know most of the countries here have ten times our problems, but if they refuse to talk about theirs and decide to talk about ours, that's their problem, let them continue. Their story is not our story. Lets focus on ourselves and discuss solution that can change the lot of our motherland. Ideas ideas ideas are the seeds of any great endeavour. For all you know our leaders are short of ideas and you might not know who will be reading these in the near future...

Which country do you really want to compare with Ghana in west africa , let's do comparison side by side. And see if Ghana hasn't make a progress. Which country do you want to choose or will you compare both?

I am a factual individual, Ghana hasn't done well but it has done better than those country you are trying to compare her with

infact add Nigeria and be biased , it will not change the fact that when empirical evidence is table , no west African country has really achieved success rate according to the world bank standard more than Ghana bar cape verde.
