Please do anyone know a lawyer that can help fast track and annul a marriage as a friend’s spouse refuse to do PCC and claim continue with the application. The marriage isn’t up to a month old. They got married mainly because of relocating together

Good luck to everyone pursuing that Canadian dream. As long as your expectations are realistic, Canada is a decent place. It’s worth it.

And, to put things in perspective and further motivate you, many of us who were in your shoes a few years ago are now becoming citizens or have become citizens. It felt like it wouldn’t happen back then; but, as they say, time flies.

Keep at it. God bless.

Hello Gurus,

I hope everyone's doing great. I need your advice on a situation I'm facing. So, I submitted my Express Entry application yesterday and got my AOR not long after. But, for the past week, the exchange rate has been all over the place. I had 12M saved up and planned to submit on the 1st of Feb when the rate was 16,442 according to Oanda. I couldn't submit that day, and to my surprise, the next day the rate had dropped to 13,474.1. Omo, I was shocked! I had to add an extra 1M to make it 13M and submitted yesterday with the rate at 14,636.4 at the time of submission.

Then this morning, I wake up to see that the same 13M is now valued at 13,669.4, which is below the required rate. And at this point, predicting the rate for when my application is reviewed is just impossible. So, I'm considering converting all my funds to dollars and putting it in a domiciliary account, then raising a CSE to inform them that due to the exchange rate fluctuations, I had to convert all my funds to dollars and would like to submit the dollar account as the new proof of funds.

Can anyone confirm if this approach will be acceptable, especially since I'm already Post-AOR?

Thanks a lot for your help!

Apply as single when they are in fact married

The reason why they are confused was that her husband never married the lady and also, the lady isn’t willing to give up her child to them. So they are confused if to add the child or not as either ways, the child isn’t accompanying them. They just want to be on the safe side and don’t want anything to ruin their application

Adding a child to your application doesn’t mean she is giving up her child. Add the child as an unaccompanied child please. Do not submit the application without the child because if it takes 20 years to discover that child, whatever status you hold in that 20 years can be revoked.

Choose the noc that is slated as noc for caregiver. There is no connection to your education when selecting noc. Choose the noc that best suits your JDs as a caregiver.

Good day, for those who select that the work in a government organization, what sort of documentation was required of you to fill?
If you are filling this in your personal history, you are to select employment. That government thingy is for those who hold public offices. They are different.

I can’t help but wonder why most of your post has “your friend”, maybe it’s time to tell your friends to come learn from the thread. The spouse seems to be in a fix with the law than they are letting out. Annulment takes a whole lot, you have to prove that you were deceived into the marriage. Maybe talk to the lawyer about a legal separation or something.

I also submitted my application January 15th and received and received AOR same day I submitted but my question is: Is it compulsory I create a status tracker account Before now I have been receiving email alerts for any update on my account.

I am new on this platform. I relocated late last year through (Healthcare pathway). I got nomination from Alberta for EE same late last year.

No you do not. It’s just to see where your application has reached

There's a point system for it
If you have a close relative you get 20 points
If you have a friend, i think its 10 points

But the idea is to max out the points for each section

Has anyone used payoneer or risevest account as pof.
I get paid directly in dollars into the payoneer account and and I'm planning on not withdrawing towards Canada pof.
I don't know if I should keep it there or move it into risevest account. Basically, are fintech apps like grey and geegpay acceptable as pof accounts.
Thanks.

I used RiseVest & my eligibility is complete according to the tracker so I guess rise is acceptable (I'm still awaiting PPR though)

I'm not sure Payoneer will be willing to issue a reference letter, you should contact their customer support. I tried using Wise but they said they don't give reference letters.

Thanks. I've been trying to deposit directly into rise but can't seem to get it done. the options available are African currencies and Pounds. Don't want to have to convert to naira again to fund the Rise wallet. I read somewhere they take dollar deposit but the feature is not on the app. any advice?

Payoneer gives a stamped reference letter BTW. Just chat the customer service up and explain the reasons. The live chat is the best way to reach them

You'll have to send them an email to get their USD account details. It's done off-the-app.

But I'm not sure Payoneer will allow you withdraw to a business account not in your name.

Hello everyone! I'm new here.
I see many travel agents advertise that they can process Federal Skilled Worker faster. Is it really true? Are there some additional things they do or add to the application to make it faster? Do you recommend using an agent? I look forward to your replies. Thanks

No. Using an agent does not make your application faster. The only benefit of using a good licensed agent is that it helps you avoid errors in your application.

Good morning everyone. Please how do l resolve an issue with my IELTS test results.

I got Ontario Provincial interest letter on the 6th of February and while l was trying to upload my IELTS result for the Ontario PNP, l realized that the date l filled on my Express entry profile was 26th of January but the date on the actual TRF was actually 24th. Will l be able to change the date on the express entry profile before submitting the Ontario PNP form.
