Don't mind these fools, Nigerians are even the foolish one here. These politicians earn over 10m in a month, so they don't understand what a common man go through, yet the foolish common man, will be manipulated through tribalism to vote for the same oppressors.

How is keeping the road safe for all users a thing of politics again?

some of those bridges are too high. the one at 7/8 airport road looks like 3 story building. For young ones, it's okay. But can't imagine elderly ppl climbing such height

Help me ask them o

Majority of Nigerians have no brain, that's why I've been saying they deserve their slavery. They are too stupid to understand that these thieves and junkies are just milking them to finance their own lifestyles of excess and decadence

Some of the pedestrian bridges are haven for criminals, they need to station security officials there.

The more people use a pedestrian bridge, the less likely it is a haven for criminal elements.

Isn't it time they move away from these mountain high Pedestrian bridges and have traffic lights and pedestrian crossings? Which city have they ever been to and see overhead pedestrian crossings as the only legal way for pedestrians to cross busy roads? ... especially in densely populated areas? Did they consider the elderly? ... the handicapped? ... pregnant women? ... those with heavy loads?... the sick? ... how far pedestrians have to walk to get to the crossing?... then do mountain climbing? If Tinubu comes to town and needs to cross.... will he use the crossing? ... if not why not? ... are the crossings wide enough to cater for all? ... why wouldn't there be pushing and shoving?... some people getting heart attack and some be tumbling down the stairs sustaining injuries?... and may even die?... will the city take the responsibility? But yet some will call this "good development ". Doesn't he realize it is people he's dealing g with and not cattle? This is more hardship on the carless man.

1. Shouldn't the bridge give room for tall trucks? Hence the height.

2. Is it a proper thing that these 'elderly' people be crossing a 6 lane express road on foot?

This is how Tinubu generated revenue in Lagos when he was a governor. It is not because they want to protect lives. It is a revenue generation ploy.

If the bridge is abandoned, and almost no one uses the bridge, it means someone is manufacturing the dirt.

I wonder what they will benefit from that because the more people use the bridge the money the beggars that stay on it will make ,it makes sense for them to clean it than pour dirt on it

Good development.

However, such pedestrian bridges should not be haven for streets urchins and drug user.
They should be well illuminated and placed at designated bus stops, not miles away.

I wish the government of Anambra state will do the same thing at Unizik junction in Awka, Anambra state.
The pedestrian bridge at Unizik junction was a home for beggars back then (I don't know it's current state) it smells of urine and other bad odors.

It was dirty, littered with all kinds of dirt. That's why people back then preferred crossing the express.

so crossing the high ways is not much of a higher risk for the elderly? Please stop justifying chaos

Everytime we blame government meanwhile government go do pedestrian road for people to pass, before you close eye, open am,you go dey see traders selling all sorts.paraga,weed,aboniki,tomatoes/pepper, bathroom slippers, roasted corn, boli etc that even the walk ways they did for people, those traders no go allow make person Waka, them no do bridge Una go abuse them, them do bridge Una go still find excuse not to use it.

I noticed if everywhere is clean, orderly and decent.lagosians no like am.but make you see open space where drivers and bus owners go park, them go sheet and piss for there, them do demarcation in between 2 roads,Una go pour dustbin there or turn it to beggars headquarters.have you been to iyanapaja, iyanaba,Alaba, okokomaiko,Alaba rago, agboju, agric? Those places stink like mad.yiu go dey inside car breeze of human faeces dey blow enter your nose, dustbin dey blow enter your nose.

No pour dirty for carnal and gutter,no Una no go hear word.whem rain come,e go push everything enter street and the Place go dey smell so disgusting.government go tile some streets and neighbourhood, give them one month, the place go dey littered with all sorts.i have lived in other states too and take it or live it lagosians are too Lousy and lack civility.abi shey Na Jide sanwoolu go tell you say make you no throw pure water sachet for Inside gutter? You no know wetin them dey call basic human decency?

I'm not holding briefs for Jide sanwoolu but when we see truth make we talk am.the other day too some soildiers were on bike driving on the road they should not drive and even when Jide sanwoolu was correcting them one of them said I be soildier o.like say soildier dey above the law.still some clowns came out to castigate him.alebaje leko yen Se

All about Revenue Generation.

The fine is far greater than the minimum wage.

May they catch ONLY APC supporters.

Make sure you show them your APC membership card so that they will reduce the fine to N40k
