Who exactly is benefiting from an ever falling Naira? What kind of cruelty is this? In 2019, a friend of mine based in the US invested $200,000(N72,000,000 at that time) into Nigerian real estate. Now his investment is valued at about N200,000,000($135,000). Despite the fact that his naira investment tripled in value, it was still not worth it from a dollar perspective. He is now regretting his decision because he would have been better off just leaving his $200k in the bank when you consider it is now worth 32 percent less. This is an example of foreign investor they claim to be courting.

You are damn wrong. If he invest in real estate the value of those properties would also be higher now. Has your rent not gone up?

Courting foreign investors to a country with spiralling inflation?
Tinubu people can tell that only to their equally empty head supporters.
The foreign investors they can court are those who come to mine crude oil and other mineral resources and pay a token for royalty, cart the crude oil and other minerals away to their home countries. Nigeria's politicians use the token to form a resemblance of government in Nigeria, pay the armed forces of Nigeria to silence dissenters, and steal rest of the tokens.

You are the one with empty head. With the floating of the Naira foreign investors can come in and exit at anytime. The different rates was a scam before. And a time will come, when all those people who are arbitrary increasing price would not be able to do so. Consumers would always look for alternative.

Your Tinubu is the president, the buck stops at his table. His economic policy is what brought the country to its current state and the way it’s going, it doesn’t look good.

I'm actually making jest of Agbadodarians that don't know politics nor economy.

They are found of asking such foolish questions.

I will rather die than support APC or Tinubu.

Someone that sued a company 2015 for equivalent of $300k in Naira. He finally got judgement, the money is now worth about $27k!

In the bible, there was a time a foreign army besieged Samaria, the capital city of Israel for three years. It got so bad, mothers were boiling their children to eat, not sell.

Is Tinubu the one who sold your crude Oil in advance? Is Tinubu who borrowed money and plunged the Nation to debts?

The Naira must further be devalued to reflect it's true value...this is the only way to attract investors and have a stable economy.
Those of u crying because Tinubu is not your tribes man can go hug transformer.
Bunch of ingrates

Yes, Tinubu has also done his own share of borrowing and advance selling if crude oil, except you dont read the news and he has been less than 1 year.

Also Tinubu supported buhari for 8 years and bank rolled his election. If that does not suggest to you that tinubu is culpable, I'm sorry to say you lack common sense

Lastly the current deteriorating economy is directly tied to policies Tinubu has implemented and the manner they have been executed

Khaki boys feel they are paid better than the average Nigerians by the political class. They rather eat pepper soup and chase young girls than involve in politics.

Don't bet on it.

Maybe for the generals and the high cadre officers who are benefitting from the government by allocating funds to themselves.

But for the lower cadre officers, who are not linked to the cash pipes, they are enough radicals among them who might be nursing rebellious thoughts.

I'm talking about the stability and not the size.
stability and size are related in the sense that a bigger market does feel specific deficit in supply like smaller market.
Plus the bigger of the two is more stable in terms of supply(remittances).

quick strategy like Argentina milei
https://twitter.com/i/status/1726527436060541001

Those staff can be moved in collaboration with companies already their into agricultural sector, the rest can be moved to the police, retrained as teachers and moved to primary and secondary schools and if any left sent to primary health centers .

running a very lean, highly automated, very transparent and efficient government with most probably less than 30 percent of it current size .
