Seagodess: Same reason why a player like Onyedika was on the bench. The coach set up and trained the team to defend and did little work on offensive plays. So, the most offensive attributes were neglected. 1 Like |

Kog45: The tiredness wasn't just physical but also mental. Peseiro inadvertently acknowledged this in his post match analysis. It is good to utilize the squad during a tournament to prevent issues like this. Keshi used to work with a Togolese Psychologist. I don't know if JP has any. The Ivorians were under less mental pressure than our players which was strange given that they were playing at home. 2 Likes |

Kog45: He has had an incredible season so far for Remo. I believe he leads the league in assists. The issue is that we have Ola Aina and Bright Osayi Samuel at that position. But outside of that I feel he is good enough to at least be in the pool of players that can be selected. He should also be in the chan team whenever we have a game. 1 Like |

Dsimmer: My guy, I'm not interested in your tales from the past Cinderella story. I'm talking based on CURRENT FORM, your boy Aribo is currently a benchwarmer in the championship and that's NOT THE STANDARD any serious national team should uphold. Peseiro didn't even give Aribo enough minutes at the AFCON cause even him didn't trust his quality enough, so why then was he called up? how can a coach bench his #10 almost all tournament except he knows his #10 simply can't be trusted to deliver. I can bet my life-savings that Aribo isn't better than the likes of Nwakali, Ifeanyi Matthew, Dele Bashiru and even Chuba Akpom (if we play him as a CAM). 4 Likes |

Seagodess:For 27minutes? Not enough time to judge. The fact is that the young man is crazy talented. Remember he joined Brugges as the best young player in Denmark, playing as a deep lying playmaker. He absolutely deserves more minutes. And, definitely would have done better than Iwobi in that role. Iwobi should have been played further up. However, Peseiro is definitely not a midfield tactical man. 3 Likes |

Philosopher1979: You guys that always mention Ebenezer, have you actually watched him play? Or are you basing it on the fact that he plays for I twr Milan Youth side? How many senior team appearances does he have? Even in his youth side, what are his stats like? What are their ratings compared to their age Mates in Italian/world football? This isn't about optics but actual ability. For me, those guys won't be ready till 3-4 years at this rate. They can feature for our age grade teams but let them not be put under undue pressure for the senior team |

zicky: ? Just simply stating facts. From his profile, he's a complete 8. Technical, mobile, defensively sound, offensive, energetic and can also contribute in the playmaking midfield aspect. such profile is needed in the midfield. |

yinkeys: Of course it is somebody's fault. The goal didn't fall out the sky lol. Jose was at fault for not sending help to Ola who was being tormented by Adringa then u have Troost who had enough time to head the ball the ball before Haller touched it. |

Dem give you serious elbow for pitch instead of you to react as Victor dey do you dey form gentleman. SHM .. That was a pure red card offense. If it was Victor I'm sure the ref would be forced to penalise Aurier |

BascoVanVeli:I thought Moses came on at the 58th minute of the game Name 3 players(defender, midfield or goalie) that deserve Super Eagles call up from NPFL Local players regularly play in the harsh afternoon weather and evening in Africa World Cup and AFCON qualifiers on the continent would be tough. Particularly away at Benin republic, South Africa etc And at home with our no so fantastic pitches |

mostob: Because several coaches came after he was signed! It's common sense! These coaches have their own signings and don't know much about him. He started as a CM in two consecutive games for Southampton which Southampton team won and he even capped it with a goal yet was sat on the bench in the next third match which has always been the case. That is, Play today, bench tomorrow even if he does well hence he's only got little match rhythm with his teammates since he's not played consecutively, not to mention playing him in several different positions when he's at his best as a CM. |
