KarlTom:More likely human error inputting the wrong bid units than hacking. Example, broker keys in the CSCS account number in the volume field instead. Not new. Looks like they sold directly from your friend's account. He should check his statement so they don't pass any of the costs to him. |

Re: Nigerian Stock Exchange Market Pick Alerts by Mpeace(m): 4:14pm On Feb 14 |
KarlTom:But fx losses for nigerian companies will continue even in q1 2024 due to continuous devaluation of the Naira. So its really hard to say what happens after AFS. But I expect them to be consistent in dividend payout. |

FX losses will only adversely affect coys without foreign links (branches, assets, etc). Yes the big players will record 'FX losses' but they will also capitalize on these 'losses'. FBNH did just that and I believe other big players like the Dangote Group will do likewise... Mpeace: 1 Like |
Re: Nigerian Stock Exchange Market Pick Alerts by Frangel: 5:08pm On Feb 14 |
KarlTom:š He should not be worried. Must have been an error the broker made. He should just be sure he doesn't take any of the costs. To be certain, he should call them on what he observed. The firm could have just crossed the whole units to their portfolio and sell from there. But I guess trying to cut costs/losses. 2 Likes |

NASCON So far, there's no published newsletter on NGX for Board Meeting.... Can we say there won't be any more Board Meeting from NASCON, and that, the final dividend from NASCON will come from DANGFOODS as Interim Div.....together with that of DANGSUGAR? Let's be watching sha.... The Board Meeting of Sugar will throw more light on this. Just thinking out loud ni o. |

Very correct! Everything seems to indicate that NASCON and Rice have already been absorbed (just waiting for official declaration). Even DS did not release UFS for Q4 2023. Let's wait for the outcome of the Board Meeting on 28th Feb... yMcy56: 1 Like |

KarlTom:Technically, NASCON doesn't seems to exist anymore. Let's keep waiting for update from that angle. Anyone trying to enter DANGFOODS should be buying until an official announcement is made......and suspension placed on them. 1 Like |

Most stockbroking firms now can be rated less than 30% in Efficiency and Effectiveness. NGX, SEC, and CSCS will pretend that they are not aware. Soon, they will no longer be able to pretend about it. |
