Should Tinubu continue this way to save the naira?

Consider the fact that defending naira means subsidizing the dollar buy selling it below market price, even though the billions of dollars are borrowed and few Nigerians had access to the cheap dollars

Lies!

It was all to cover his financial recklessness and
incompetence in amounts disbursed to the first family and "hangers-on" around the presidency.

It has been discarded now so let's face local production and have less need for foreign currencies.

Defending the Naira is not a father christmas activity. Naira revenue generated from the sale of forex still returns to government coffers to pay for other domestic expenditure.

It's actually possible because CBN was equally giving funds to oil importers.

Now ask yourself how much the country has lost in 7 months because of that ill prepared decision!
Note that alot of people had naira in their savings accounts before the floating of naira and now that money has lost more than 80% of it's value. Nigerians alone must have lost more than 50billion dollars.
