Go to any National population commission near you and request for age declaration attestation. It bears the parents name and other details with the applicants passport.

This is in reference to your application for temporary residence. The following document/s are required to
continue processing your application:

The required document/s listed above must be received within 7 days from the date of this letter.

It's normal. At times it takes a considerable amount of time before IRCC officers go through the webform messages applicants send to them, but If you receive no response acknowledging the webform message you sent after 6 weeks, you can send it again.

HELLO HOUSE, GREETINGS. I applied for a Canada tourist visa and was denied because I didn't indicate visa denial from the USA. I paid for gcms note and the result came out. it was the same reason I was denied. I re-applied and wrote an honest explanation about it and went further to explain to them about other countries that denied me a visa and later granted me the same visa.
my second application was received on the 7th of October 2023. To date, I have not received any decision regarding my application. the first application took 3 months or less.
please what's your advice on how to go about this? please give me input and your advice. thank you

Give it up to middle of March because the processing time takes about 5 months plus for most applications right now.

Are you a first time applicant? Be expecting a response any moment from next week, if they still process applications based on their timelines. As at the time I applied mid November, the processing time was barely 100 days. Early December, it was 109 days before they shot it up astronomically in the week that followed. Though I've since picked up my visa. I had a valid US visa with 5 years validity before applying.

Yours was faster because of your us visa. November applicants should be looking at April ending for first timer, so they don't get High BP checking their portal every minute.

Chief, your own situation is one-of-a-kind, not like the majority of other applicants.

When discussing processing times, people with valid US visas or those who have visited Canada within the last ten years are excluded from the long wait because they are granted special treatment based on their visa status, and their applications are processed faster under the CAN+ program.

If they are processing September's applications right now, then those who submitted in November should be waiting for decisions on or before the end of April.

I guess the US Visa made yours faster. Yes I am a first timer. I guess having valid UK visa does not change anything.

Thanks

Omo...It is well...I submitted nov 26th and did biometrics Dec 1st...I think the processing time starts counting from date of biometrics capture and not when the TRV application was submitted

You can send them a message to inquire about your application; other than that, I don't think there's anything you can do but wait until your application is processed.

The average processing time is only an estimate and does not guarantee that all applications will be processed during this period. In fact, only about 60 to 70% of applications received from all applicants are processed during this period.
