BTW That Zoo doesn’t really look well maintained/barricaded. Safety is very important. Not sure why people take life for granted in this country. OAU should pay attention to that Zoo or close it if they can’t maintain it. Another Lion can probably escape easily through any loophole there into the community. God forbid!

In general, tamed lions are not exactly tamed. They are just subdued. They can still act out and pose a danger to caregivers and other people.

Stand practice anywhere is to euthanize the lion.

Zoo keepers should be taught on d use of sedatives so that whenever ever they are attending to animals like this the sedative should be nearby.
Secondly, there should always be a second person in d case the animal attacks d first then the second person should be a handy assistance.
