OChimex: Your statement is the false impression been fed to people. Just look at how you stated it as if it’s that easy. Where will he get funds for HVAC training? Won’t he pick up odd jobs, pay rents and bills, get a car, DL and insurance? How many company’s will employ you as an engineer and give you that pay you stated as an illegal inmigrant? You know what the call slave labour, that’s what he will be for some years. It’s one of those sacrifices. He will find his way from there. Do you have an idea how much monthly rent is in the US presently? How do you just expect someone to just get in and kick- start like that. You made it look so easy and soft. 6 Likes 2 Shares |

MyVILLAGEpeople: Stop Most western country's leaders are occultic too There is no correlation between occultic men ruling a country and backwardness Or is illuminati and Bohemian Grove exclusive to Nigeria? Government everywhere is terrible. There are homeless people in USA just as they are in Nigeria. Difference between abroad and here is that a skilled worker like a doctor or engineer can effectively provide a decent life for his family. Those are the only people who, really benefit from japa. 1 Like |

AllenSpencer: No mind them, They think abroad is heaven and Nigeria is hell Everywhere is bad, it depends on how you navigate the situation If the person moves to California, even if he is earning $70k per month, it may not be enough for him to get a decent accomodation Such persons require housing aid to balance things out. It's not about how much you earn, it's about how much you keep. Better to research cost of living or at least make a concrete plan of what to do when you japa than to just wing it. If you want to Japa in a clean manner choose btw EU, US, Canada, Australia, New Zealand, Uk, Ireland. Etc. They’re expensive but in the long term the costs can even out. Middle East countries has no human rights and no possibility of getting citizenship so even if you head there just be careful so many lives has been lost. Asia is for hustlers mainly illegal dealings. You sit down and check your path in life I wish you the best of luck |

AllenSpencer: You Nigerians first of all, think with your emotions, then before you think with your brain. I am telling you from experience dude. My own experience and you are here doubting me? Shoooooo That's why I said, he should move legally. You don't need any fund to be an apprentice Mr man. The company hires you as an apprentice, pays you hourly like $20 to $22 an hour until you are done training. So many endless companies are looking for apprentices. The problem with Nigerians are lack of knowledge and information. When you move to America, find apprenticeship skill job learn, the company will be paying you while you learn. Once done, they give you your own van or truck equipped, give you loan for tools, you work and take your professional exams. That's the root I am on Mr man. 2 Likes 2 Shares

banku:Those two points I bolded for you may be misleading. Sometimes I wonder about the type of abroad some of you guys visit and the routes you take. If you follow the legal route, you can never encounter poverty in abroad. Notice the "can never," ? Yes, am stating fact and reality for you. All you need is one Job and rest is history. Even Nigerians that seeked asylum in Canada earn and save more money than an oil company employee in Nigeria. As someone else mentioned, poverty is indeed a choice in foreign countries. I can assure you of that. |

AllenSpencer: I don't put this information for you to doubt Ignorantly. I put this for people who want to learn, to learn. Most Nigerians come America dey do dumb odd jobs. That's stupid. Learn a skill and make fortune within 2 to 3 years, $100k - $200k yearly. The tools loan is only if you want to. If you had saved enough, you can do it yourself. Tools can cost between $1k to 2k for basics and for a start. Then he works to buy or upgrade his tools himself. He can pay up the loan in two to 3 paychecks, $500 taken from each paychecks, or set up a payment plan where the company deducts like $100 -$200 each pay checks. 1 Like 1 Share |
